Historically, property prices in South Africa have generally outperformed economic growth, and by international standards, we still enjoy very affordable prices and an excellent lifestyle, so if you have the cash or access to capital, it’s going to be buyers’ market for the rest of this year and probably well into next year, so now is a good time to consider investing in property.
Mark & Tasha, family please keep doing these type of videos. Would love to see: Condos, AirBNB's and starter apartments for those of us just landing. Love ya'll. Much love from Oakland!
Honestly the first few minutes turned me off to the property before I even saw it. All that security is a red flag for me. I would rather live in an Estate like the Blatans do, rather than have a standalone home with the security depending on me alone. I would have much more peace of mind being in the middle of an Estate and able to walk around more freely knowing that access to the Estate is regulated(and yes, I know even an Estate has its risk and security issues)
Your cameraman is too focused on you thus missing key views of the household. If you’re advertising we’d like to see more of the product atleast 80% of the time while of course listening to what you have to say
@@tivanivunene4002 Hence the constructive criticism. Improvement is implemented where identified not where people keep making remarks such as “there’s room for improvement”
I think this is quite fine compared with some real estate I have seen on Househunters International…l just wish the pool was in the backyard or slightly smaller where they placed it.
It’s a very beautiful home and for the price it is still outstanding because in the states that would be 15 million rand(million usd) or more. My next question is the burglar bars, when I first seen them I was thinking that the location was not a secure location and it brought on thoughts of being a prisoner in your own home. I would like to find a home for 2,250,000rand - 1,300,000 (150k-89k US) is that still possible in South Africa and still be in a secure area.
No, in a golf estate your definitely going to get a much smaller house for 1,2 mil and maybe no swimming pool but the security is there which is why people move to these estates. In my opinion you could get a much better prices house which is 2 to 3 bedrooms in a gated complex which is still secure, but not in a suburb that caters mostly to rich people. I’ve lived in SA my whole life and never been robbed or burgled and I don’t live in a gated community. You just need to know which areas are safer to live jn
Human beings are funny creatures... we see several post that are on some: "the house finishes are rather dated for my liking"... that time the contributor is staying in flat/townhouse that was built in the late 80's or 90's 😂

Great job guys! In Atlanta, GA, that home is 1.2 million in Buckhead
Beautiful home! Can you show some homes that are around $100,00 or less too? Thanks❤
Yes I agree ☝️
$100 000 estate houses are limited. You probably would get very nice 3 bed apartment section tittle houses. R1.5 m .. decent luxury apartments.
@@zusibone thanks
@@zusibone Thank you!
@@zusibone did she say how much the house was ?
You never disappoint, always showing real staff from SA
Not even, it's just ridiculous now in ATL if you are in the market for home
Whoever designed this house and security architecture was smart.
Beautiful property.
God has blessed us with those bird , that's wakes you up in the morning 🌅
Hurlingham is a beautiful neighbourhood. Love the yard.
It's a absolutely beautiful home I really like it and a great price
The excitement of renovating this space... Money where are you? 🤧

The real South Africa does it again...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's a lot of money for me as a South-African that's lotto money in my eyes but a beautiful house though
Beautiful house but the interior is outdated for me.
It was built in 2000 . Soo it makes sense. I think one might make some renovations. Especially if you are earning in dollars.
I totally agree with you what matters is the location of the property.
@@shirleyntlonti3606 exactly 💯.

Mark, I appreciate your content.
Count me IN! Brother
In Cape Town you will get house quarter the size of that property for that price

Hurlingham is a good area it's actually not too far from rosebank and Dunkeld as well . Beautiful homes that side .
Very nice!
Beautiful, and in Euro money how much does it costs?
Divide 4.9 million rand by 15.50
Google can help
316,000 Euros
salvatore lei sicuramente è italiano o sbaglio??
Interesting but it will cost over $50 000 to modernize it

at least 80 grand US. that tile gotta go. tile must be cheap around that area. floor tile on walls?
All this does is raise property prices, so that ordinary working class people get priced out.
If I were to buy that house I would like to know what they are building next door? Can you please tell us what they are building next door?
Please reach out to the realtor the listing is the description
@@TRSA Thank you, we shall do. I am just thinking whatever is going to be built on that site next door is the reason she is selling the house.

It depends on the size of the house you want. Even in these estate you can find a beautiful home for around 1,2k zar
