For people choosing to criticise Agamators English lets not forget English is not his first language and personally as someone who has studied English at a higher level I find it endearing the way he can manipulate the English language and this is by far the best Chess channel online and I find his explanations of possibilities within a game a real learning curve....

Fortunately, I was there when this game happened. And honestly, I was surprised, I thought that Giri will win, but I'm glad that Lupulescu took his chance to shine. A good game indeed. Our romanian grandmaster deserves more attention. :)))
I know it's probably been said before... And even though I know full well what his actual name is... My brain always reads "Amish Girl" whenever I see "Anish Giri" in text. For this I would like to apologize to the universe at large. Lol. Either way another great video, thanks for the work you put in bringing these to us. Hvala.
Important performance by Constantine, I didn't know him before this tournament. Moreover this game was played in slow time, therefore even more difficult to prevail against such a top player like Anish!
The position at 1:55 reminds of the … 4. Bf4 … 6. Nbd2 … line of the Budapest Gambit except black’s knight is on c5 instead of e5, white’s bishop isn’t on f4, and white’s queen is on d4. Seems like black is doing better since the knight isn’t as badly placed.

10:22 couldn't white in this case capture with the rook instead of the king. the rook was no longer pinned. NVM. another question tho is. i can't see how 10:27 is a draw. you can't continuesly check the king. can't the king just move up constantly and get to safety eventually leaving the game in a queen rook end game
at 8.39 minutes the white queen must go on the same line as the two rooks E8 . If the queen is taken from the rook then it's a check mate, because the two white rooks can take both the black rook and the queen.
You’ve gotta love the fighting approach of Constantin who took the risk of getting a worse position with White after losing to Caruana, most of the players would have tried to stop the bleeding, but not the Romanian Wolf 🐺!

*Lupulescu plays a perfect game according to engine* "Beautiful".
*Anna Rudolf plays very well in a tournament* "must be an engine in her lip balm"
yeah I was thinking that. Lupulescu was playing engine like moves in this game.
Those are two accurate statements
finally the right pronunciaton on deac's name. Great job!
Always good to see lesser known GM's get some hits in against the big guys. gg GM Lupulescu
8:35 "we don't have to, but we can"
And it was in this position, at 13:48 , that agadmator decided to pronounce deac perfectly.
Fortunately, I was there when this game happened. And honestly, I was surprised, I thought that Giri will win, but I'm glad that Lupulescu took his chance to shine.
A good game indeed. Our romanian grandmaster deserves more attention. :)))
Yes it perfect pronunciation of the name !! And yes I am happy and excited to see my Romanians chess players on this chanel playing like this !!

After Lupulescu’s 33.Re8, the commentators: “Wow…he found the winning move!”
Yes guys…he is a GM if you haven’t noticed, not a patzer on a park bench.
These Romanians are absolute machines! Great games!
0:16 Quote: "This features not a single bad move except one" ☺️👌
"not a single bad move except one"
As his name suggests he does play like a fierce wolf.

I'll try to remember that next time I have an absurdly winning position.
Sebastian Telfair, inspired by the Queen's Gambit, has truly taken method acting to a new level in preparation for his next chess roll.
Excellent game by Lupulescu and Giri as well , for surviving so long in this brilliancy
Costică Lupulescu amazing as always!
Love to watch giri crushed like bug 😉😜😂👍👍
Antonio: "Here you resign because you're down a rook and have nothing to show for it"
Me:"And there is waiting this mate in one, also."
Cool video, btw your pronunciation of Lupulescu is correct.
Youre awesome agad, I hope your day has been amazing.
3:47 Anish thought after he wins the game, Agad would comment that this was a very nice rook lift :)
Im actually a big fan of Giri his style has matured from draw master to very interesting games with complex positions I hope he ends up doing well.
He is still a draw master tho
@@themerovingian7154 No he isn't lmao
Agadmator I think you forget to mention a game also between Anish Giri against Constantin Lupulescu you covered long time a go

What about Ke2?
This will ensure that black won't pick up the rook.
Hello Agadmator! Got my chess 3 way shirt!!! Its dope!

Does anyone think facing mate in 1 might also have been a factor in the resignation? :) Great report Adamator - as always.
5:56 is there really nothing for black for the sacrificed piece? That white king seems really open.

I enjoy watching the classical games more than faster time controls. The games are better quality.
Giri: I am prepared for Fabi, MVL and So.
Lipulescu: I'm coming bro !!!.
Is it wrong that I binge watch Antonio's videos every day? 🤣
The video dropped two minutes before my lunch break, love it
finally u pronunced it perfect :))
Never push f6 ! Said Ben.
at 8.39 minutes the white queen must go on the same line as the two rooks E8 . If the queen is taken from the rook then it's a check mate, because the two white rooks can take both the black rook and the queen.
Black will be check mate before that if he moves that rook!
Wait why can’t you go rook captures rook on H2 after the rook has been unpinned because of the king moving?
Nothing shames a chess player like “falling for a cheap-o”.
You’ve gotta love the fighting approach of Constantin who took the risk of getting a worse position with White after losing to Caruana, most of the players would have tried to stop the bleeding, but not the Romanian Wolf 🐺!

"We don't have to but we can " -Agadmator 2021
For a second there, i thought the thumbnail was Kramnik
I have always considered Petrosian v Botvinnik 1963 WC game 5 as being 'faultless' - but of course any modern computer would find 'improvements'
That's what happens when you master the tempo and play gambits.
What is en pasant ? how can you capture a pawn like that i dont understand this rule ?
So I said r e8 for the first pause the video, and then I was like ok NOW its ok to push f6 on the second pause. Trolled by Antonio yet again
usual GM's game was watered down for a while,,,,,, back to the whimsy of chess. Beautiful game
Yeeey, you're pronouncing it correctly now!
the position at 6:27 is really interesting.
Perfection. 👌🏿
how accurate was Lupulescue?
Why white just can't play rook e8 , and checkmate black king after the move played at 7:37
Actually playing rook e8 should lead to a checkmate
That was some good chess.
What about the morphy saga?
