I'm living in France and working full-time in a French company, generally from home. I love my job but it's quite intense and sometimes i feel like an independent freelancer as were super autonomous. Often i work 9 or even 10h and huge to do lists but one french thing i adopted is to never not have minimum 1h break or even 1,5 sometimes. Honestly it's the best. Every day. Lunch became like a ritual. Sometimes i go for a run or do exercise too or just a walk or groceries. But i can never go back to the Dutch 30 min break it's abusive or to a "worklunch" That's not lunch that is just working with your mouth full 😂

I removed several tattoos and the first four sessions I thought oh no I won’t use any numbing cream..I can do without. When I finally started applying lidocaine before the sessions it was suchhhhh a game changer and didn’t feel like torture anymore. The blistering after the removal especially after the first couple of times is also quite uncomfortable and I recommend icing the areas! Good luck 😄 the shit we do to ourselves! Ugh!

Regarding tattoo removal, I’m sorry to report the lidocaine cream did nothing for me in terms of pain reduction. I followed the instructions exactly and it still hurt like nothing I’ve ever experienced. You should see if they’ll let you hold a cold air wand (my dermatology office has one attached to the laser machine) on the area during treatment. The cool air helps a bit to lessen discomfort and holding it also acts as a distraction. You got this girl!
I just went to the billie eilish concert yesterday and i have to say you look so much like an older version of billie! the dimples n the smile you guys look sooo much like sisters lol!

Estée, did you know that you can get botox for your masseter muscles? The toxin will weaken the muscle so that you can’t clench your teeth as hard at night any more. Don’t worry, you will still be able to do the everyday things such as eating and talking, as the muscle has much more power than you will need for these things. But it might reduce the tension you feel. Bonus: it will slim the face a little, because the muscle will lose some volume while not being used as intensively as before. In Asia, masseter botox is a very popular beauty treatment called V-Shaping 😉 I clench my teeth excessively, too, and have gotten the treatment last year in the late summer. They start with a very little amount and I will have to go back as it didn’t calm my strong jaw muscles enough, but I thought it might be an option that you want to try. Good luck in case you try, I hope it works out for you and will relax your masseter! 🤞🏻
The things we girls do to look professional. 😖😂 Wore high heels for an event the other week, ended up tromping almost a mile from lunch to the meeting (“It’s just four blocks!” said the guy), ended up with blisters on multiple toes. I vote we make trainers professional appropriate.
