I am using a USB-C based flash drive on my Macbook Retina 12inch (Early 2015 Model A5134) connecting it to the USB-C port and its working fine. However, when I want to use a flash drive with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 (Old model with Blue color) flash drive through a USB 3.0 to USB-C type multi port Hub with Power Delivery then the flash drive is not detected and does not seem to be mounted. Can you please advise what should I do? Many thanks for your anticipated kind response in case this message reaches you.
The limitations may be due to the type of adapters you are using to connect the USB Type-A drives, whether 2.0 or 3.0. You may want to check with the manufactures of said adapters to see if they are fully compatible with the MAC environment, for example we have the Nucleum hub that should work with your legacy USB drives. I have no idea about the different types on the market. But I just wanted to know what type of USB cable with an HDMI adaptor would need in order to watch movies from my Mac Catalina to a normal TV. I ejected my flash drive but now for some reason it wont connect to my Mac please help
Whenever I try to put something into the flash drive it always says I need to click "authenticate" first and I have no idea where to do that
