Jackie Robinson one of the meanest while Roy Campanella was one of the nicest. Jackie didn’t care about the other black players he was all about himself and aloof. Roy Campanella was universally loved and took the black players under his wing.

A great pick for a hero would've been Joe Mauer, played his entire career for his hometown team in Minnesota, by all accounts an amazing teammate, insanely kind person and soon-to-be HOFer, the impact he's had on not just Minnesota baseball but the state as a whole is genuinely crazy

Let's be fair here. Bonds was a Hall of Famer before he cheated, but was NEVER in the conversation of GOAT. It was only after he grew his dome as money sizes as the Grinch's heart that people start throwing GOAT around.
Hell, he wasn't even the best position player of his generation. That was Griffey; someone who didn't cheat.

If you ever do another video like this, I think you should have Harmon Killebrew included. He was probably one of the nicest and most humble guys to ever play the game. Killebrew was one of few players that went out of his way to compliment umpires. He always made time for fans. Later in his life he was a huge supporter of the Miracle League, an organization dedicated to letting children and adults with mental and physical disabilities enjoy the game of baseball. Even as he was dying of esophageal cancer, Killebrew raised money and awareness for hospice care. Twins Territory was very lucky to be able to call a man like Harmon one of their own.

fun Ty Cobb fact: his estate consisted almost entirely of Coca Cola stock which exploded in value after his death and he wanted his estate to help underprivileged Georgian students pay for schooling. It’s definitely not your fault for pointing it out, I appreciate that, and right when you did I went and looked for myself, I have absolutely no problem with that. You just don’t have to be rude and downplay the research creators do on their videos just because of a minor mistake that doesn’t really change the impact of the point I’m making. Again, I appreciate the feedback though.

@@peskytalk Yeah he hasn't done anything stupid in a couple years now, but I expect him to get bitter as his career comes to an end and he doesn't have a world series ring. Might try and take it out on a player who's been luckier with getting one. Personally I think it's not fair that he turned a likely hall of fame career into an unlikely one in Dustin Pedroia. I hope the writers remember this and choose to not elect him, but you never know with the writers. Adrian Beltre is no longer a unanimous inductee this year. There have been writers that have turned down everyone but Mariano Rivera, and elected lots of questionable players at the same time.

I think Alex Rodriquez stuff is blown way into the stratosphere. He knocks the ball out of a glove,so what? anyway if you watch the play the Red Sox player just about got right in the base path, he was lucky to not be knocked down. He was a great player...and a competitive rivalry with Jeter, so what again.

You said Ichiro Suzuki is the all-time professional hits leader if you combine Major League Baseball and the Japanese League. What a complete joke. I am sick and tired of younger people saying that and they don't know diddly squat about baseball. Pete Rose is the all-time hit leader at 4256 MAJOR LEAGUE hits. Pete has said that up until recently the Japanese League was about the same level as minor league baseball. So using your ridiculous math I'm going to take Pete's 4,256 hits and add his 427 minor league hits so that gives him 4,683 hits. Is not Minor League Baseball also professional baseball? So to make a long story short, don't make stupid comments because even if I agree with what you said Pete is still the hit King.

You’re assuming that you’re more intelligent about me in baseball, simply bc you’re older, even though you watched at least 2/3s of my video to get to the Ichiro point, so clearly I hooked someone on my “diddly squat” knowledge.
And even so, your point barely even makes sense, the NPB is the highest level of baseball in Japan, and since you are required to play a few years before you’re able to come to the MLB he missed years where he could’ve been racking up hits, minor league baseball is not the highest level.
Along with that, I PERSONALLY DONT EVEN SEE HIM AS THE ALL TIME LEADER. I said, IF, you count this, it’s just an interesting point that’s worth mentioning. But if you think you handed my ass to me that’s fine.
