That was the thought I had when the video was concluding. not sure if anyone else mentioned the name of Mariano Riveria but he also could have made the list. today's players I would say A. Judge and Freddie Freeman. On the other side of the coin I will say Josh Donaldson, Albert Belle and one other but can't remember his name.

I would’ve added him if I didn’t already have Ted and Jackie, but I didn’t want too many guys from that era, tried to get guys from all different times
You did a great job balancing the eras, that is true. I have watched it 3 times already, and i texted my brother and told him to watch it. He loves Ted Williams!

Chirping at hitters because they were upset at themselves for missing a pitch, Yelling at guys on the other team for not running how he felt they should run, showing up teammates who made an error behind him. Let's be fair here. Bonds was a Hall of Famer before he cheated, but was NEVER in the conversation of GOAT. It was only after he grew his dome as money sizes as the Grinch's heart that people start throwing GOAT around. Hell, he wasn't even the best position player of his generation. Bonds was better than Griffey before any alleged steroid use. Bonds had a better eye than Griffey could ever have, much better obp, better runner. All around just better than Griffey. Griffey may have just been more popular than Bonds, but that's about it....
Mariano Rivera. That moment at his last All Star game, where he came in from the bullpen but the AL team didn't immediately take the field behind him but instead, players from both leagues applauded him, along with the crowd, still gives me chills.

If you ever do another video like this, I think you should have Harmon Killebrew included. He was probably one of the nicest and most humble guys to ever play the game. Later in his life he was a huge supporter of the Miracle League, an organization dedicated to letting children and adults with mental and physical disabilities enjoy the game of baseball. apparently Ty Cobb's villain arc has been exaggerated greatly, but sadly nobody can really verify anymore. I'm not saying he was a hero, but maybe the villain thing is a stretch? fun Ty Cobb fact: his estate consisted almost entirely of Coca Cola stock which exploded in value after his death and he wanted his estate to help underprivileged Georgian students pay for schooling. At the time of his death schools in Georgia were still segregated so he figured the money would go to white underprivileged students, but now the scholarships help almost exclusively black students. Cosmic irony at its finest
@grege5074 I liked how this comment started, but not how it ended. Another act of charity on Cobb's part was building a hospital. He built it in an area with a large black population, and even had a black doctor named as Chief of Medicine. These were choices he made while alive, and were fully under his control. He could have made race a factor in receiving his scholarship, but chose not to. Making it seem like he would've been pissed off that he helped black students is wrong.
Yea that might’ve been a personal bias, I personally see him as a brewer and a ray more than anything else, but a lot of his moments were on the Astros!

And even so, your point barely even makes sense, the NPB is the highest level of baseball in Japan, and since you are required to play a few years before you’re able to come to the MLB he missed years where he could’ve been racking up hits, minor league baseball is not the highest level. Along with that, I PERSONALLY DONT EVEN SEE HIM AS THE ALL TIME LEADER. I said, IF, you count this, it’s just an interesting point that’s worth mentioning. So to make a long story short, don't make stupid comments because even if I agree with what you said Pete is still the hit King.
I stopped reading at young people Adam
@@peskytalk I would stop reading too if I just got my ass handed to me
You’re assuming that you’re more intelligent about me in baseball, simply bc you’re older, even though you watched at least 2/3s of my video to get to the Ichiro point, so clearly I hooked someone on my “diddly squat” knowledge.
But if you think you handed my ass to me that’s fine.
