@Sai Kaushal i do. a lot of people on the internet think there's just one 'indian accent'. truth is, based off of where you're from and how you grew up your accent is gonna be extremely different. what a lot of people glorify as an elegant indian accent is usually the product of growing up in an area where english is widely spoken (like bombay or goa) or of a quality education. the indians who get made fun of probably never treated english as a primary language and i think it's unfair (and downright racist) how people shit on bad indian english when the same bad grammar and broken sentences are sexy in a french or brazillian accent.

I grew up in the USA and i can say there are a lot of women rights issues back home. Even women who are loved & treated well by theif family get a lot of shelter, while men get away with heinous behavior.
Actually what was highlighted by the Pakistani girl was she likes the idea of women having the freedom in the US compared to in her country. Why others think she wants to westernize her country 🤣
Even though they're using the same language people can interpret things in different ways. Like an engine in cars or machines, you buy two of the same kind, perform the same purpose, but you won't know if one is as efficient as the other.
I knew the kind of freedom she was talkin about; especially when it comes to women's freedom in South Asia. Till date there are certain parts of South Asia where women are not taken seriously and regarded as nothing more than a care taker of their family. She has to act in the way the society wants to and not the way she wants to.
I feel respect for the Pakistani girl 9:07 . there is tremendous social pressure in Pakistan against women's rights for education and situation has not changed yet. The girl expressed her pure feelings very well.
Definitely!! They respected each other so much so that a year prior the little rock nine's lives were threated for simply walking into a white school :D!!! love this golden era!

So inspiring to watch and learn from all the women from East. If you carefully observe, we have female representation from Pakistan, India, Egypt and even South Korea. Feeling so proud that these women were so thoughtful and inspiring.
Knowing what happened to many of their countries in the years following up to now makes me worry for these students. I hope they each found some happiness.
I am shocked that she took back a pair of blue jeans in 1959! I was visiting thiruvanatapuram (i'm from a diff indian city) about 10 years ago and it was so awkward wearing jeans there because men wouldn't stop staring in the most horrible way. I can only imagine the looks she got back in 1959.
@ArchiveMC you collected lots of valuable clips from the past time.. and uploaded here👍🏻 Actually, I have no words to appreciate your work ❤️ I am in love to hear different civilizations, different thoughts from their respective countries etc.
What really stood out is the Pakistani girl being honest about how she is confused about her own beliefs after listening to a variety of other opinions from others. I'm not sure you'll ever find that kind of honesty in today's world.
This makes me so emotional!!they respect each other so much I can see their friendship they really enjoy each other’s company this video is full of joy and laughter there from all different walks of life and all get on brilliantly.
I personally think what the Pakistani girl said was the position of women in the then society of her country . The freedom the women enjoyed and what a women could contribute to the society . It was not westernise her country . Travel and knowing other cultures will always help to better ourselves and our country . In every society there are traditions and culture which is good and bad . Change what is bad and move forward .
true and it wasn't just about her country , she rather spoke on the behalf of south asia and all other societies where women weren't given an equal status and still aren't (in some places) .
This is why I think it is so important to leave our home country (not just on a week vacation) and explore the world and all it has to offer. We desperately need to open our eyes and experience other cultures to understand each other and different cultures across the world. I pray we can come together in the near future to repair our broken world built on misunderstanding and ignorance
I completely agree... It's so easy to get caught up in our own mess. Getting out and experiencing other cultures can significantly change one's self. As always there are some exceptions to this case too.
We call our age an era of information . With technology we have at our disposal we still don't have the level of intellect they had back then. May be they were special group selected privileged students of their country, most probably they had been provided with best of the best educational background of their time and place but we have our own privileged society were people with middle income in a 3rd world country can access infinite pool of information and education and use it to change the world around.
I can bet with time we will lose articulation in general population. Kids are having shorter and shorter attention span and memory of a goldfish. Look at the colossal amount of garbage information we have in the "vines", the tiktok videos and the facebook reels.
Proud Pakistani American here but I liked Indian girl’s eloquent and much more learned & broadly applicable response when she disagreed with Pakistani girl. Also the Egyptian girl talking about making marriage unnecessarily romantic & fairytale-like, which sets up impractical life expectations where there is supposedly no suffering etc, that’s Zen philosophy. wow, and these guys were in high school?

I don’t think it’s necessarily fair to criminalize “TikTok” as a degradation of the more recent generations. Conversations such as these occur, just not on TikTok. Just as much as dumb teenagers that would exist on “hypothetical past TikTok” existed back then as well. I grew up in the USA and i can say there are a lot of women rights issues back home. Even women who are loved & treated well by theif family get a lot of shelter, while men get away with heinous behavior.
This was the most amazing thing to watch from the distant past.Just being there would change peoples perspective. Binge watching all the videos.
@Bam Bam Tuivasa Alhamduullilah Allah will bless you with jahannum 😂😂
@Bam Bam Tuivasa
Dream on 😝😝
@@dikshasingh3750 u keep dreaming
All of their talking and realizations, is making me feel a certain feeling but I don't know what it is.
We will never know
Same here..Its like I want to time travel & just be a part of them & just observe as they speak & joke around'
It certainly made me feel a sense of belonging. I had a sudden urge to have been with them and learn as much as possible.
It made me feel a sense of longing.
we are all the same
They are so earnest and sweet, it just touches my heart.
These kids have a great sense of humour even by today’s standards
I feel respect for the Pakistani girl 9:07 . there is tremendous social pressure in Pakistan against women's rights for education and situation has not changed yet. The girl expressed her pure feelings very well.
I must say this is an golden era! Respecting each other views, listening to others & definitely keeping their own point high!
*was*
this was not a golden era lmao
Definitely!! They respected each other so much so that a year prior the little rock nine's lives were threated for simply walking into a white school :D!!! love this golden era!
Girl bye 😭 meanwhile racial injustice, apartheid, and the civil right movement still happened before, during, and after all of this. Respecting and listening is not what any of these ppl were doing.
Golden era? Jesus Christ sit tf down
I am so proud of these young women. They all spoke with intelligence, dignity, and so much morality. I can't say that I disagreed with any of them here. They all supplied excellent and unique perspectives unique to them and where they come from. I appreciate having an open buffet dialogue.
"There's a very big change between change and growth." THIS.
They are soo polite and we'll postured ... God we are no where near them for real seriously 😳
They make great statements everyone .. i am around the same age .. and I can't make such strong , straight yet calm opinions and comments ..
✨✨🙏✨✨
This is second conversation ,,first one also I seen,,, one thing we can't ignore " the Pakistani girl was so talented and she is very serious while she talk "
thank you for telling. I am going to listen that now
@10:13 - "We need Mass education, Industry, individuals with a sense of responsibility."
"Historian may record that we, with our beliefs of passive resistance were the truly civilized while those who spread their beliefs with the help of a sword, were the twentieth century Barbarians."
I wish an average middle aged/ old person was half as wise has this teen. In fact, even though I do not agree with all of them, I can really hope that I manage to raise my kids to be something like these bright people.
I had tears in my eyes. The grace and kindness!
Pakistan Girl (Rafia Ayoob), I'm afraid her career didn't go no where. When she went back to Pakistan, she got married and became HOUSEWIFE. What a tradegy, she wanted to do more and nobody understood her. You could literally see her whole life unfolding in her eyes..
She actually went on to work for the United Nations and stayed in the US. Ziada emotional na ho jani.
So inspiring to watch and learn from all the women from East. If you carefully observe, we have female representation from Pakistan, India, Egypt and even South Korea. Feeling so proud that these women were so thoughtful and inspiring.
Everyone are simply sweet people. I really had a happy time watching this video.
women are so smart i love listening these they give so much new ideas and prospective I've never thought of
Amazing! they are so mature and respectful given their age...really wonderful!
Knowing what happened to many of their countries in the years following up to now makes me worry for these students. I hope they each found some happiness.
I wonder how many of em are still here with us. They left a mark here that would live for ages..........
Nalini from Trivandrum, India ! As i am from Trivandrum, i got goosebumps and at the same time utmost respect for her!
any idea wheres she now? i coudnt find any latest photos of her
@@damosaviationandtravelvide2854 i too searched the internet but in vain! Also asked my folks..if they know anyone by that name but that too in vain!
5:08 10:04❤️ feeling goosebumps...it's 1959 and a kerala women there...🔥
Im also shocked 🎆
I am shocked that she took back a pair of blue jeans in 1959! I was visiting thiruvanatapuram (i'm from a diff indian city) about 10 years ago and it was so awkward wearing jeans there because men wouldn't stop staring in the most horrible way. I can only imagine the looks she got back in 1959.
@@Nikatronixx if you visit trivandrum now...u can find girls are wearing shorts nd strapless 😁
The Indian girl... speaks so well and her thinking is so clear....
@Loco Guano it’s not a competition. they were both very well spoken
@Loco Guano ahh yes and no...in this case no
When high school was more about educating the teenagers rather than just a preparation time for cracking a seat for college in India
They were still hiding stuff about the things that they don’t teach at all about every race
UA-cam is a time machine. Time travel is not only about the physical being, but also mental and spiritual being.
@ArchiveMC you collected lots of valuable clips from the past time.. and uploaded here👍🏻
Actually, I have no words to appreciate your work ❤️
I am in love to hear different civilizations, different thoughts from their respective countries etc.
the girl who said shes taking back a pair of blue jeans was so cute lol the way she looked up
Hope all these beautiful people are still alive and accomplished a lot in their lives!
The entire group is so mature, kind and has such good human values
9:22 about Pakistan.. This was so risky to say on international platform.. Can't even think of doing that in todays globalized, interconnected world
It’s not risky. You are allowed to criticize your country.
What really stood out is the Pakistani girl being honest about how she is confused about her own beliefs after listening to a variety of other opinions from others. I'm not sure you'll ever find that kind of honesty in today's world.
can't believe its over 60 years old....awesome perspectives from all around the globe..🇮🇳
Very bright… I couldn’t help but smile ear to ear
That indian girl won my heart ❤🥰
Nbs 😩
It's very sad that everyone in this group is very old now and some of them may have died as well
Trivandrum girl made it clear back then. Lots of love for her❤️
This makes me so emotional!!they respect each other so much I can see their friendship they really enjoy each other’s company this video is full of joy and laughter there from all different walks of life and all get on brilliantly.
I personally think you are Oriya , have two kids and both of you and your spouse are working in some IT company in bangalore
@Ashish Mishra oh I see.. what about Buddhist ?
@@reonvikings8524 tf 🤣 I'm probably the first one here to get your joke
This is why I think it is so important to leave our home country (not just on a week vacation) and explore the world and all it has to offer. We desperately need to open our eyes and experience other cultures to understand each other and different cultures across the world. I pray we can come together in the near future to repair our broken world built on misunderstanding and ignorance
I completely agree... It's so easy to get caught up in our own mess. Getting out and experiencing other cultures can significantly change one's self. As always there are some exceptions to this case too.
this rl give you the understanding of countries, their prejudices, but also understanding the beauty in how dey can connect. i love this
We call our age an era of information .
Truly right!
I can bet with time we will lose articulation in general population. Kids are having shorter and shorter attention span and memory of a goldfish. Look at the colossal amount of garbage information we have in the "vines", the tiktok videos and the facebook reels.
i love this video so much, the diversity in everyone and the joy is so pure and light
That girl from Pakistan knows nobody knows how she feeling she smart and right ngl
9:06 Great exchange between Pakistan and India delegate. An honest and deeply ideological conversation.
@1:03 I like Tehran, Iran's smile and humor. I hope she get even better as she get older.
Wow, this group seems so INTERESTING! imagine the stories!
I believe indian and Pakistani girls become friends. Two brilliant Minds. I respect them both. Amazed to see 2 sisters sitting each other.
@@ChinmaiKh correct, plus I think the Indian girl was on some other level. I totally see where the Pakistani teenager might be coming from with her newfound young rebellion, but the Indian girl is such an old, wise soul, like a Buddha reincarnated. That’s a kind of person I want to be friends or siblings with.
There was so much optimism…! So much belief in human potential, freedom, and brotherhood
I don’t think it’s necessarily fair to criminalize “TikTok” as a degradation of the more recent generations. Conversations such as these occur, just not on TikTok. Just as much as dumb teenagers that would exist on “hypothetical past TikTok” existed back then as well. We only see what’s preserved and what’s being shared, they just didn’t have the technology to record teenage stupidity back then, as much as we have the technology to do so now.
Damn bot
Conversations? You call getting famous for doing a stupid voice over a conversation? If us teenagers wanted to we could have done the same thing on UA-cam 16 years ago
@@westcoasthiker7093 So what’s your point
Shut the fuck up. Tiktok dances and all that bullshit is cringe asf don’t try to justify this generation. They’re so soft and only care about followers and having no self respect
@@jdiv9073 get out of ur hole and look outside. There are so many intelligent teenagers out there. Just because some teenage Tiktokers are cringy doesn’t mean teenagers are cringy and care only about followers in general. What u are doing is generalising a generation based on a minority group.
22:19 that kid is low key a genius. How clever you have to be to understand that, especially at that age, is crazy.
I have massive respect for all of them but he's definitely a notch above. Respect.

Wow watching people talk is just almost unreal the way they speak is amazing raw
I'm just fell in love with mind of rafiya... I believe I'll find that kind girl one day(possibly)
The Pakistani and Indian girl really caught my attention. They had mutual respect.
These debates are actually very interesting and it's amazing to hear young brilliant minds speak so Intelligently. They are all well educated about their countries and opening to learn from others. Things have changed, they would all be genius of today.

kids in 2021: “you thought you ate🤨”
Awww wow cool to see this footage. What awesome kids!!
The Indian girl is very brave and well educated.
Beautiful ending. We need it these days.
What I really liked about this is all the non-native english speaking countries can speak english fluently. The way they share their valuable thoughts.. 👍👍
