Stephen this ain’t a dating show.
Touker should've thrown in some office space to sweeten the deal
😂😂😂😂
Why does Deborah always appear to be rolling bogies? 😂😂😂
I'm amazed how they jostled for position here for a product you could replicate in your garage.
Maybe you should give it a go
@@djsteves554 I'm working on a product and intending on applying for the show.
They're more interested in the potential of the guy than this particular business
Yeah, you could use that wonder putty from the other episode to keep the chips in. :D
Impressive young lad with huge security risks
This 18 year old wants people to send him their credit cards and have the chip removed and the strip copied/scanned?
He said you freeze the card before sending it to him..... 2:20
Freezing does nothing if he has all your info. He sends it back, you unfreeze your account, he’s got all the info needed to run a lucrative secondary business. He’ll even have a good guess at your billing zip code with the mail delivery
He could partner with the banks instead.
@@emi62507 my thoughts too. he could produce their cards for them at a lower cost than they are paying.
@GuessTheSongMS Yes but don't you think that if after unfreezing your card your account was wiped out that it wouldn't exactly require the talents of Sherlock Holmes to work out who's the guilty party 😅
I would have offered him too… i know this business is commonly found online those days.. BUT THIS GUY IS A GENIUS AND COOL MINDED.. DETERMINED… 🎉🎉🎉🎉deserves to be a winner
First he says the daily income is between 2 and 30 cards. Bit later, when asked about capacity, he says he could do 15 or perhaps 20 per day. Initially had the idea this was odd, but he's talking about two different things: online sales and production.
And before that he said they take seconds and didn't see any limit to how many he could do
I thought was an answer to how many sales he made per day. Not how many products he could deliver in a day.
I think the 2-30 is how many orders he currently gets per day, not his manufacturing capacity.
@@budhann3342 Good point! Edited my comment.
Have to remember the editors cut this programme to bits to make a shorter entertaining episode I’ve heard some are in there for hours getting grilled
His company seized operations, and you can tell from trust pilot they were a scam or couldn’t keep up with orders, + data breach’s here and there. 😅
I’m sorry, £75 for a card?? I’m amazed none of the dragons called that out, that’s daylight robbery lmao
You're paying for the image on it
If people pay it, then it doesn't matter. I agree it's pricey
Probably the best dragons den arguments i have seen so far 😅 love it!
I'm really surprised that none of the Dragons asked if this is legal. In my country (Australia), I'm pretty sure it is illegal to modify or tamper with a credit card in any way, and this guy is not only doing that, but also transferring the electronic data.
Yeh you're 100 fair dinkum I'm from Brissy and nup
I agree, I doubt British banks wouldn’t like this either…
He should of asked Peter and Steven to split the deal
should’ve
@@emi62507 It's sad to see that people sometimes write what they hear.

Steven immediately hitting on him 😂
He was the 4th Dragon to make him an offer, not immediately.
@@getin3949 The first two questions he asked were "How tall are you?" and "How old are you?" Totally sus.

@@BenjaminGoose 1:51
@@getin3949he means Steven finds him attractive. Not that Steven wants to invest in him.. well not his money anyways
I'm just thinking about the security challenges and risks
I was thinking the same. There must be something in bank Terms and Conditions that doesn't allow this must customisation. And there must be a general regulation relating to how cards can be designed. There's also the matter of making cards accessible for visually impaired people, like the colours and fonts involved.
Same. I would not feel comfortable using this.
Calm down Karen
If you watch it he says the customer is asked to freeze their card before sending to him. So the only risk is if the Royal Mail or a courier losses the card, but if its frozen you can just order a new card. Then there are data protection laws aswell, so its not that much of a security risk.
Until he sells clones of everyone’s cards and skimmed info a year later on the dark web.
NO ONE SEES your debit card, who gives a damn what's on it?? $80 for a design that does nothing?? People are idiots and have too much money if they buy into something like this.
I'm so sorry but thats what business is all about, why do you think designer brands exist and make billions of money?
Rich people think different
The young generation is all about flashing anything different and personalized even if no one hardly sees it....think high end bras and underpants, a tatoo no one sees ..etc
Right????
Exactly. Where I live we don’t use cards anymore, we just use our phones. Even small vendors have QR code that you scan to pay.
facebook page shows customers having ordered and paid.. still waiting for delivery..= 1 year later
Myles sold Haze Cards in March 2023
The key to this is his grampys name. David Dickenson. Then the dragons started to fawn over him
Ikr, why even go in there and mention your grandad 😅 he only did that because he's well known
Because he has his grandad's talents
They all were smiling from the time he walked in. He is easy on the eyes and 18. LOL
@@TheManInBlueFlamesnope...he has his grandads money lol
I dig Toucker's tag line... Toucker time!
He really should've asked if they'd split the offer.
OMG the trivia that amuses people has no limit
This guy is very inspiring.
I actually dont see any problems with this other than the idea of them taking your credit card. How long would they have it? How would you know someone from the company wasn't being fraudulent? How long would you not be able to purchase things without it? Miles himself is really impressive though, the buying and selling thing from when he was younger.
that type will probably be a problem here in Norway, a lot of personal security, you hand over your personal bank card.
I would want that company to be ISO27001 and PCI-DSS certified before handing over my bank cards. He's transferring that chip and magnetic strip data so there's a massive security risk.
Nothing came of this and loads of places do the same thing
got bought out by US competitor and has since launched an advanced version of the service
the only reason he got featured and invested is he belongs to the fellow community via David Dickinson
, MBE. Surprisingly no dragon scrutinized the legality of the business.
I thought he said the cards take 2 seconds to make to Debra then said one machine can only make 20 a day to Stephen.
Amazing young man❤
I'm surprised no one mentioned the security aspect of sending your card
They messed up the audio in this one.
Security issue big time but super proud of you Miles.
What was that bit that got silenced?
Who's your favourite dragon? I think Toukar is mine. Second would be Peter.
Peter
I'd confiscate the customers credit cards for having more money than sense 🤣🤣
this is a security nightmare their receiving all these peoples details in the mail is dodgy
Could see the look on Peter's face when Steven was making an offer, he knew he'd probably lose to Steven
Great choice.
I fret over the fret.
Excellent !!!!!
I think he runs out of business. I google it but their website is not working anymore.
He sold the business.
Edit: he now runs a software company called Haze.
wait he says can only do 15to20 cards a day but before that says it takes a few seconds to do one
Miles Dickenson Brown sounds like he doesn't need the money with a name like that 😂
sounds like a rent boy from south london
And yet he's choosing to make a living for himself, which is honorable.
Look him up. His grandfather David Dickinson is on Wikipedia. He was adopted by a couple called Dickinson. I assume that Brown is the mother of Miles.
@@swissguy101 I think that's what Steven's hoping lol
lol

This a security nightmare waiting to happen.
Not really becuase people would need to know your pin first to be able to use it, you can also track your package so if anything is abnormal you freeze your card. If i remember correctly he did also say that they tell you to freeze the card in the first place before you send it out so your card is frozen to stop any risks and if anything happens the card is already froze and you order a new card.
If his business is a verified buisness on the .gov site he would also beholden to data protection laws. So its actually risk free provided you froze your cards before hand. Which the compnay would be covered for becuase they should be stating to freeze the card before mailing out.
@@ashleygoggs5679 It can see this going very wrong, very easily.
Why? its not worse than typing up your card details online. In fact, online is a lot easier to hack.
@@bluceree7312 Which is why you’re better off not doing that either.
The cards would get cloned so fast, and there is no telling who has access to them either.
@@Nocturnalux THE ACCOUNTS ARE FROZEN!!!!
Am I missing something? Phones have these cards on them digitally and in the future could be customized. Why we need this?
With a name like that he’s bound to go places
You would have thought that he has a Instagram that it would be public to get impulse purchase not have to request to see the page and wait to be accepted
Stephen definitely like both sides of the world 😂😂😂
Wait? Who are the dudes/dudettes who have access to thousands of people's credit card chips? What protection measures are in place to prevent a rogue employee from quickly selling on the dark web? What company will insure this against fraud? Will the big banks approve this? This is lawsuit written alll over it
Great idea. I am going to ask a company to make me a card with lawsuit written all over it.
Impressive. Most impressive
INTERESTINGLY NO DRAGON ASKS IF THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR THE BANKS ALLOW THIS TO THEIR CARDS.
I’ve seen this episode before. Re upload?
They do that sometimes, yeah. Or they'll publish it on the BBC UA-cam channel first.
well they are all shown on telly first, so who cares if it has been on before?
whats concerning is that his social media accounts arent great, and to go private on insta is just odd.
He's here for a reason, to learn and get better
@@bilaltokhi7445 you dont learn by going private. If you wamt sales you keep it public

What a nonsense product. Total narcissists order this junk. Phones are going to replace cards anyway (if they haven't already).
Only 2 reviews on Fb page both bad. Think the lad means well but is probably overwhelmed with traffic after being on here.
Or....you could buy sticker paper for $15 and print your own images up to 200 times.

Who even needs a personalised card? I’m with Deborah on this one.
But I think the thinking here was “support the entrepreneur, not the business”
They wanted HIM specifically

Dude should have bargained for both Peter and Steven, AND the desk space Steven offered. He would have gotten it 100%. The Dragons are suckers for mentoring young people. If the guy was 35 yrs old they might not have had any interest in the product. This was almost purely a mentorship deal. The idea is average. I had a semi-custom card in 2008/2009, and I don't see the value in 80 pounds for this.
but apparently some people do see value and pay for it. And to spot that trend is sign of promising businessmen.
What dont you people get? Peter is a relic to an 18y/o. Hes older than his dad! 😂
