I’ve been depressed for a long time and looking at my daughters hair adds to it. I’m getting started today I have to for her. Maybe it will give me the motivation to take care of myself again. It is in two ponytails I’ve done over and over again for maybe 7 months. I’m scared I’ve ruined her hair after growing it out for 12 years but I will pray and take advice I’ve found on this page! Wish me much success…
✨It’s all one step at a time! Healing is a journey, never a destination. It takes so much courage to embark on your journey of self healing, but the fact that your heart is willing to, just shows that you’re ready to. Don’t let anyone tell you who you are or make you feel ashamed or guilty. Your heart has been through the hardships that only you know and only you’ve experienced. Yet, from all that you’ve been through, you’ve been blessed with the best angels by your side - your daughters. You are a beautiful courageous light in this world✨🌎❤️Wishing you a full life of love, peace, continued healing, & joy my dear friend.🙏🏽🌈❤️☮️♾️✨
I hope Your Mom's hospital has cooling caps to wear during chemotherapy - it can limit damage done by the chemo to the hair follicles by cooling the scalp (therefore less blood with the drug that harms fast-dividing cells the most has contact with the hair). Get heavier products, not just purely protein based, but something heavier - warm oil treatment on the length and a good, nourishing scalp tonic. Indian Neem products are wonderful.
The great late Maya Angelou “And Still I Rise” short poem will forever be one of the most memorable short poems in my life. She was the voice we all needed. RIH.🕊️🥰
Just watching your videos gives me hope. My 11 year old has bad matted hair on one side and it's been months and I am trying but her pain tolerance is zero 😢
I'm in the same boat my daughter is way older but she's going thru a serious depresión her hair has been Matted for month she don't let me help her, I tried once nd she has zero tolerance for pain .
Please tell me how you were able to get her unmated? I’m dealing with the same thing for 17 months due to depression and I just been keeping it shampooed but in a head wrap.I do put leave in conditioner and oil on it but I let it go and it started locking.I want to get it combed out please help.
I’ve been depressed for months and I have really mattered hair and my mother has been neglecting me so my hair is almost always like this and I don’t get to eat until I fix it but I just can’t it sucks I have been doing a bun for about 3 years now and I’m too embarrassed to go out at all
thank you for this work it life and spirit changing. Please try alter ego garlic condittioner my hair mattes like crazy in a single week and this condish is the only thng that keeps me from losing all the hair on my head when detangling
Help me please my daughters hair looks like this I’ve been trying to detangle for months and the hair just matts back up together. What tools and products do you use. Please HELP. Thank you in advance.
that’s what happened to me. i’d work hours and lose all the progress in just a little while. i started securing it with bobby pins and trying to braid it. Finally after 2 1/2 weeks of hell i went to a slalom and the lady with no precious experience helped me. She had to cut a lot out so i’ve got a long road of regrowth ahead.
What a beautiful transformation 🎉 May TMH God ALWAYS BLESS the work of your hands! You ARE a #Healer Sis! In every sense of the word! 🙏🏽💜✨👑 Much love from 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
How rude of you to assume that black women don’t teach their children how to take care of their hair, or that this woman got here because of ignorance. She knows how to take care of her hair. People go through difficult circumstances in their lives during which they are unable to take care of themselves. Please speak with compassion.
@@ephemeranna lm black by the way , and yes l have witnessed it , some black children are not shown how to take care of their hair . That includes girls as well as boys . I understand why you took offence as you maybe thought l was from another race , my name on this platform is a nickname! But yes l’ve witnessed this growing up , lm a grandmother now - and l will say it again, some black children are not taught proper hair care! It’s the truth wether you agree or not . And this continues into adulthood, unless the individual chooses to change the trajectory!!!

If that's not a wig I can't understand why you would ever want to cover your hair with a wig. I think natural is beautiful but that's just my opinion.
