Hey Patric, is it a good idea to incorporate some of the legitimate tests for personality (Big 5, 16personalities, gallup), as well as general QI test from Mensa, when you consider partnering up with someone on a start-up? So that you can analyze the particular psyche and how it can potentially work out between you, prior to engaging into a partnership?
It's so AWESOMELY weird how I come across these videos at just the right time when I'm entering a new stage in development with my business. Thank you Patrick & co, I'm incredibly GRATEFUL for all your hard work & energy it takes to put these together!!
What I love about Valuetainment is that there is no episode 1-227 on the concepts. A lot of other channels have that structure and it makes it daunting to watch something thinking "what did I miss before episode 34 etc" Valuetainment is great, all things are relevant no matter where you are in business whether you are a millionaire, startup or wannabe. 👌🏽
Meeting the family is a huge tip for me, never thought of meeting the family when hiring a new business partner or staff. great idea to put into practice. Thank you!謝謝你(thank you in Chinese )
+Shawn King Was just thinking the same thing. Guess you only attract/find the information you are really looking for and apparently, the number of people aspiring to be successful is ridiculously low :/
So true Shawn King! The value this channel, Patrick & the Valuetainment team put out is just invaluable! There is a reason there are so few successful people. You are what you surround yourself with right? In any case, this just means we have such an opportunity right now when not many other people are thinking big! Let's make the most of it =)!
business is all about partnerships. good partnerships = success. bad partnerships = failure. Thanks Pat. I will be studying this one. I found it at just the right time.
I followed you because I wanted to study about a business partner to analyse why my marriage worked from an angle of planning I did. Then boom you related in all. You are a mentor I would love
Patrick!!!!! Many people will write a book out of each of your videos. Your content is helping my company exponentially. You will be coming to Lagos Nigeria within the next 5yrs except there is another company that beats me to it. You are my Prophet🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Phenomenal episode . More than 30 tips in total , 3 books recommendations and over 30 mins of pure experience being shared. One of my favorite episodes . Downloading it right now as mp3 . Thanks VT.
Oh this overwhelming good, its tough good too and the beauty with it is that it leads to better odds at not sucking in business or marriage for that matter. No single advert too, just pure solid value. Can’t believe I almost skipped this video 😅
Really get to know yourself, and what do you want out of a business partnership. Partner up, and make sure that both of you will be able to work in synergy. Make sure everyone gets value out of the partnership
Not only did I get a great lesson from this video, but I also got to go further into learning with the book references. Thank you for this video packed with golden nuggets, Pat.
I've just started to work on my startup and Finally found the right channel... Much appreciate all those "complete" and valuable information alike other who gives half tips and ask to join a seminar for tons of money. Thank you Pat.

Thank you for sharing priceless information. I started last week arching your videos and have been blown away since. I can feel myself shifting. I'm an entrepreneur in Direct Sales. Pat, you have made an impact in my life.
PBD always delivering so much value. So great he can articulate what’s need other than experience and skills. Almost people missed these points. Thank you for sharing. So much value.
I'm not in any position to partner up with anybody right now, but I definitely know a guy who could really do well with this information. I've shared a few of your videos with him and I'm definitely going to pass this one on too. Thank you for always taking your time to make these, Patrick.
You know, its almost as if running a successful business is a long-term way of life (Haha!). Great advice not just for business but, life. Thank you for this gem, Patrick.
This has helped to widen my perspective on finding the right partners. You constantly give me new insights on how to accomplish certain aspects pf running a business; thank you so much!
Sir great video and i personally believe in one thing that whether its a business partner or a life partner transparency is the topmost priority and it should be the topmost priority.
Hi Patrick , I am 19yrs old and i have made a design of a solar power bank and i want to start my business on this stuff because of increasing smartphone market in India, i am doing my Mechanical engineering degree here i watch ur videos daily and take tips ...just want to tell u that "U R AWESOME"
Notes Finding the right business partner is like finding the right spouse. 6-Types of Partners 1) Equity Partner 4:37 owns a piece of the company with you 2) Product Partner 5:18 3) Executives 6:03 are absolute partners 4) Different Departments 6:59 5) Vendors, Consultants, Legal, and CPA 7:26 6) Sharing an office building 8:36
You have your priorities right. Military training is great experience for a man (I believe - I think). I grew up in Ireland and national service had been abandoned. I wish I had some military discipline behind me. Not combat in war, just experience.
Fantastic video. Watching such videos and learning from your experience has further solidified my decision to make 2023 the year to act on my concept and proceed with greater confidence.
EXCELLENT breakdown!!!!!! Especially for understanding real VALUE. Today is Ujamaa. U hit the value right on the head. Much more than profit, strategy on value matters as paramount in business. Happy Kwanzaa!!!!
Wooooww man, this channel keep amaze me every time... Every time I have a question on how to become a better entrepreneur there is a well detailed video about it...
Some people have a toxic family, I don't think it's fair to judge them based on their family. Some may need to keep distance to avoid pain and be a better human being.
Thank you for this video. It really helped me to pull the trigger on what I've known i needed to do for a while but reluctantly put off. I'm feeling more confident now than I have been for a long while. Much appreciated.
Yes, meeting friends and family is probably the most important thing as it will show you who you are dealing with. In relationships, if a man is hiding me from them I just leave...because he is dishonest and a manipulator. Envy is very dangerous and will kill you. That was a good point, too. I'm catching up with all your vids, Patrick. Best regards to your wife, Jennifer. She must be an angel :)
Wow!…didn’t think I would watch this whole video but it was amazing!!! Your definitely right, you gotta put the work in and yes this does seem like a lot but this totally pin points every area. Awesome video Sir!
I absolutely cannot stand business partners lying. You know at some point people will just screw you over. For instance, being on dishonest about the quality of a deliverable, that's a dead ringer they're going to do it again and maybe even worse. People moving behind your back, big red flag. Tell em what you think of it, and cut ties. It will hurt for a while, because you'll need to replace them with better people, which takes time and effort, but you'll be better off in the end.
Amazing video, I go through a lot of these with relationships and business and I added some more thanks to this video, but I'm surprised how a lot get offended on what it takes to fill these roles on and off the job.
I started a business with a partner, she designs I sell to put it shortly. I feel our responsibilities (work) are unequally divided, I am at the end of my strengths. Also I notice our values and visions are different, or what each wants to do. Time to brake up before it moves any further? I don’t think we like each other’s family very much neither 😅
Funny, CAT & DOG videos have 1m+ views and videos like this have 21k ! Thank you for the lessons and motivation ! I have pretty much watched all your videos twice, read your wiki-pedia (I wish that was more in depth) and spent hours on your business & personal site. Oh my... I mean you're available, helpful, energetic, positive, there's no better base to create a great work culture, what's there not to appreciate? That's the top of the world! Shawn King probably because many people still lack vision. A great vision needs a great team, hence only those with great vision needs the video.
