Arthur would probably side with Uncle to bust John’s chops: “Oh, don’t be so hard on him, old man. This is the most luxurious outhouse I’ve ever seen, it even has windows!”
@earnem4175 i mean Arthur's journal probably shows he's probably literate enough to talk back to uncle but I'd doubt Arthur would make such a terrible house
Nah man, you got this all wrong. Uncle was providing the harsh realism needed to break through to John, and help him do good by his family. If Uncle didn't care for John, and didn't want to see the best for his family, he never would have done this.
Now this is what real friendship looks like. Man just eviscerated any semblance of honor John had ever obtained, and then he goes and helps him build a house.
people don't give enough credit to "you used to be decent company", like yeah, the snake with a toothache is good, but i feel like it's worse when they tell you that you were okay BEFORE
The context for this kick in the pants makes it make more sense imo: At this point,John has given up his wandering nomadic lifestyle and worked at mr gettys ranch in strawberry for a few months at this point, gone an used his real name to get a loan and the recommendation of his employer to get this lowly land......and he's all sad because he feels like he can't do anything right or that he doesnt know how to be a "man" instead of a "theif" or a "crimminal" ,because his impulses and crimminal behaviors caused abagail and jack to leave for a time. So at this point,he's spent his money,he needs to make rhis work otherwise he will lose everything he's gambled thus far,and he's bitter. So he's self hating constantly and uncle, knowing thar this attitude is what made chapter 2 arthur so miserable when alone, does what he did then:He offers some humor, and then when john(unlike arthur, who could sarcastically lift his spirits afterwards due to uncles jokes or mess up) decides he's gonna keep being mopey,Uncle lets him have it. Sometimes mockery can make someone snap out of a mood and focus on the objective point you are trying to make, and Uncle knows he has to steer John right if any "sucess" stories from the gang are gonna survive.
the reason nobody tries this with arthur, is because he doens't make threats or arguments back, he makes promises, and those promises aren't so great for the antagonizers.
He’s been holding that in since Arthur’s time of antagonism
He can't let it out on arthur...it will not end like this 😂...so here he is finally able to release it all
@@kiro253Cue to Sean trying it on Arthur too. Regretted it immediately 😂
Low Tier Uncle: YOU SHOULD LEVEL THIS HOUSE NOW!
😅
*THUNDER*
*AND GIVE A WOMAN, SOME PLACE THAT SHE WOULD STEP FOOT IN*
Thank God he listened
I've seen this scene 100 times but the vine booms have me rolling rn LOL
😁😁
Vine booms are great but for Rdr2, cannon fire sound effect would be the best.
@@Marksman_12 honor sound as seen in lego version of this cutscene works best
@@overjoyedbrass Just checked it. It was good.
now watch the low honor sfx version lmao
"I mean that literally...you got no hope!" which Uncle says as they literally sit on property John owns called "Beecher's Hope"
🤔
Poor John. Arthur probably could've won any argument against Uncle in 2 seconds, but not John, lol
Arthur definitely would win😅
Arthur wouldn't win in an argument with Uncle. Guy is more literate and better at insulting than Arthur
Arthur would probably side with Uncle to bust John’s chops:
“Oh, don’t be so hard on him, old man. This is the most luxurious outhouse I’ve ever seen, it even has windows!”
Cuz hes an idiot
@earnem4175 i mean Arthur's journal probably shows he's probably literate enough to talk back to uncle but I'd doubt Arthur would make such a terrible house
Uncle ain't seeing a Deer when he dies
Nah, he'll be seein' a racoon with lumbago
Nah man, you got this all wrong. Uncle was providing the harsh realism needed to break through to John, and help him do good by his family. If Uncle didn't care for John, and didn't want to see the best for his family, he never would have done this.
@LokiFarbautisson he's a fire pit
I like how you did distant gunshots instead of vine booms, nice touch
Thank you)
I think it would have been funny if it was the low honor sound
It sounds more like cannon shots
Charles be like aight boys im outta here before triggerhappy johnnyboy gets that deadeye look in face and sees red
😅
The "You're hopeless" followed by yet another explosion got me more than it should have
Uncle after roast Marston's soul: okey ill catch you later then!
🤣
I guess Uncle was “Arthur’s Uncle” the whole time…
I need this with the low honor sound
ua-cam.com/video/D9s3hlVNKik/v-deo.htmlsi=rbANIY1xio0ge3nh
It already exists
Uncle roasting the f out of that shack were the funniest lines I’ve heard in the game
0:20 the look always crack me up
Now this is what real friendship looks like. Man just eviscerated any semblance of honor John had ever obtained, and then he goes and helps him build a house.
I am currently in chapter 3 and i don't wanna continue playing because the camp is so peaceful (aside form dutch's and Molly's yelling) without micah
Uncle gon be seeing a coyote when he dies...
Fr
people don't give enough credit to "you used to be decent company", like yeah, the snake with a toothache is good, but i feel like it's worse when they tell you that you were okay BEFORE
My therapist when my card declines
John is the best shot in the series, no doubt. But Uncle shot bro in the soul.
uncle did him dirty
bro got roasted so hard even charles just left

This is the most I've seen someone use antagonize without a fight starting.
At the end, Charles leaves because he doesn't want to be caught in the crossfire. Either by John whose about to kill Uncle, or Uncle's insane insults.
Been holding that in since 1785
0:35 Poor friendly Charles just got denied by Uncle.
Uncle was droppin straight up antagonize bombs
Arthur laughing in Heaven
Evil Uncle be like: I never told you Charles, but this boy is as fresh as three-hour old milk
Dear lord, this is the definition of overkill
"Stop he's already dead!"
omfg, he's such a damn menace lol
Uncle’s gonna have more than lumbago after that
Nah John won't mess with Red Harlow 🥶
Rdr1 John vest: a perfect gray
Rdr2 John vest: a bluish gray misproportioned slop
The booms sounds like someone's trying to either destroy the house or trying to eliminate uncle
Pinkertons have a rookie sniper nearby.
It's John's self esteem, Uncle is destroying It.
Lore of RDR2 - Uncle Literally Spamming ANTAGONIZE Button in This Scene momentum 100
????
uncle got john in a stunlock😭
😅
Uncle got way too comfortable with john there 💀
I’m just imagining the low honor ding sound XD
Charles walking around like a total NPC makes it even better!
If Arthur antagonizing people was hilarious then Uncle doing it is downright comedy genius.
Uncle and Lamar Davis are the Good pair to roast anyone 😂😂
Your right man
the reason nobody tries this with arthur, is because he doens't make threats or arguments back, he makes promises, and those promises aren't so great for the antagonizers.
Uncle may have lumbago, but he still roasts people the best
Just wait until John reaches the 1st January of 1911 and Uncle will regret it hardly.
I've played this game so many times, and not once did I get this cutscene where there are constant explosions in the background😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha. They're shotgun shots
I still think that uncle is red Harlow for anyone that ever played red dead revolver
Rockstar made this an unskippable cutscene meaning they wanted you to sit there and take and not do anything about it
Is the same for that Parody in Lego. 😅
Uncle: cooking the shit out of John
Charles: ☕🗿
I mean the scriptwriting in this game is Oscar level writing.
WHO IN THE WORLD IS SHOOTING CANONS OFF IN THE DISTANCE?!
Bro is the ultimate yapper
they need to add the low honor sound effect to this
man uncle hes wild💀💀💀
You should’ve used the low honor sound effect instead of the vine boom
uncle: this is nice :)
john: complains
uncle: i see youve chosen Death
Damn John's already down Uncle chill😂😂
Bro did not have to cook him that good 💀
Came here bc I just saw the Lego version of this😂😂
I was really lost in this scene
2 bucks for her a steal
*SHOTS FIRED!*
lol uncle literally has somthing against this man
Franklin And Lamar in 1907
Lumbago power
❤❤❤
Brilliant
Is this RDR1? Or Is this like postgame for RDR2?
It's the epilogue of rdr2
