Today I learned there's 20 Mac Games.
Bro, only on Steam there are more than 40,000 native games for Mac..
All of this will change soon as Linux and Mac start to take over all things gaming. Enough of the Windows monopoly.

@@The_MEMEphis Never say never ;D Ppl said that about Linux for the longest time, and now Linux is actually surpassing Windows performance all accross the board, and we now even have our own dedicated pc/console gaming handheld (Steam Deck). Macs can do gaming just fine tbh, you just have to treat the plattform like a gaming console, because that's the type of approach that Apple has taken with their hard- and software combination. Hey, if even low-powered devices like the Nintendo Switch can do gaming just fine, then surely a high-end iMac can do that too, right?
Macs are for productivity - AND they can also be used for gaming just fine.

Should include SALEBLAZER! Survival coop, with a shop, dungeon, campaign missions, and coop up to 8 players. This game is a blast, bought it last week and been playing it everyday since then.

What is the fps counter software name please?
Just wondering how do you show the FPS, system running, memory, and CPU stats only.
mine is showing the extended(Full) HUD which shows additional information such as operating system translation that is running, direct x version, Render Encoder, Compute Encoder, blitz encoder and many more.
Also is it possible to relocate the position of the Metal HUD or even resize them?

It still baffles me they showed off Layers of Fear when presenting the new Mac's raytracing features, and the game still doesn't support raytracing on Mac...

I’m actually very surprised at Arma3 performance. It runes at a smooth 60 fps. I never got above 30 on PC
You were probably running a really bad PC then because Nvidia/AMD GPUs completely out class Mac GPUs at the same price points

@@kieran9882 that specifically an issue with unreal engine 5 and it's being slowly worked out a lot of the games that had those issues have had them updated out and the most recent unreal engine 5 titles aren't having the same issues
Bioshock and Tomb Raider games are awesome too
For MMO Eve Online is optimized for native Mac
World of Warcraft too. Hopefully more MMOs will get native ports to Mac in the future.

No Football Manager on the list. That's the one game that drains most of my free time year after year.
Still funny how few games are made for macs uncompromising computing power, with few years of apple silicon on market.
I have a MacBook Air m1 from 2020 but I know it can run world of Warcraft but am I not breaking my MacBook (am new to the MacBook family).
Also, give War Mongrels a try; for me, it was a surprisingly good game.

Does anyone here know how to change the mouse sensitivity on Resident Evil 4? I tried to look through all of the settings multiple times but it makes it tough to get through the game when I'm aiming and turning so slowly...
Could you test (Rosetta) games with Low Power mode for performance and how much battery you would get? (or just what the total system draw is, you can kinda extrapolate from that)
Alternatively, you could run games at maybe Medium ~800p with a frame cap of 60 (or Vsync, but it would go to 120Hz unless you adjust it down)?
Or both. (and maybe a comparison between Pro and Max)

No man’s sky on the highest settings gives me about 3-5 hours of gameplay on a charge. Running a MacBook Pro 16 M2 Max 30 core 32GB unified
Performance doesnt change when you unplug the power from the battery, cyberpunk at max settings goes for about 2 hrs

"1080p Medium" Just doesn't cut it on an 3000$+ machine.
The only machines that are $3000+ are the M3 Pro/Max and they can handle quite a lot. No one's buying a Mac just for gaming, the gaming performance is a bonus for a great work machine!
Its tricky, a M2 Max gives the performance of a 3080 aprox while real time translating the game for Metal, but the fact that it does this while running on 40-60w vs a 3080 rig would be around 400w makes the chip very promising
So next up.... :P
