I HAD A QUADZILLA WITH AN FZR 1000 IN IT.. 130 HP.. IT WAS WAY MORE FUN THAN THE 500 I TOOK OUT OF IT TRUST ME. The stock tires would grow about 6 inches in diameter when I hammered it because they'd spin so fast..lol. it was like having a rear end that the gears gradually got higher the faster you went. But even on blacktop it felt like you were on Ice cuz it never stops burning out until you stop accelerating.
@Cale Phillips lol not even close! As someone who rides a "modern four stroke" that is pretty tricked out, I can't match a stock 500. Its ludicrous, but I don't have a 500 so here I am.

@Anonymous 101 the GSX 1100 E engine is defenately used on the iconic Katana, I don't know about the GSX 1100 EF engine, but it is possible, as the next gen GSX F bikes were branded as Katana's for the US marked

My kind of vid! I run a ZX7R powered Banshee, set up for trail riding. It's my 3rd build & by far the best one so far..
Banshee Fever 750cc I've got a trx250x with a ninja 600 engine I call quadzilla which yes it beats actual quadzillas.
Bryan Teet yeah, that ninja 600 has some high rpm. They sound great under the hammer. You have any vids if it? There's quite a few Banshees with them & they run hard.

I got and old 80 model Yamaha yfm 80 with ah 93 fzr 600 with ah big turbo running 8 psi of boost not mad for what it is it like to stand up in 5th gear🤤

Did you see the footpegs on it? Its like they are designed specifically for your foot to slip off and then stab you in the ankle.

The quad using a Hayabusa engine was actually a Suzuki GS based motor.

All that money spent to build them and no nerf bars on even one of them. Hell you can custom fabricate some simple ones. I liked that banshee but the foot pegs were smooth and didn't look like they'd grip anything. Save your legs from wrapping around the rear axle and put some freaking nerf bars on them!

I STUFFED AN FZR 1000 WITH DOWNDRAFT CARBS INTO A QUADZILLA 500 FRAME. 130 HP.. WOULD SLAM THE WHEELIE BAR INTO THE GROUND SO HARD AND FAST IN THE SAND THAT ALL 4 WHEELS WOULD COME OFF THE GROUND FOR ABOUT 10 FEET.

Joaquin Cora 250s are sweet. But a twin banshee is where it is.get a 250 if you wanna lose the race or hill climb or ALL.. it's kinda like a blaster compared to a banshee

I admit I'm a little OCD but I love it when projects like these are all built using the same manufacturer, frame/parts etc like the first quad shown. It's a Yamaha 450r quad with a Yamaha R1 street bike engine. I hate when they are mismatched. Just me.

Very cool, but no thanks. I like the downward push you get and the settling/stability at higher speeds on the bike that you raped the engine from to put in your quad. Granted, on sand...that would be badassary at it's finest!! But not on pavement. Also, that orange one at the 4:30+ mark...rider gonna have his left toes burnt off after 5 minutes. Run the damn exhaust behind your foot. I know vid is 2 + years old. I'll shut up and enjoy my sativa now. 🤫
Name one practical application for doing this? You just took a highway capable vehicle and made one that isn't. Simply because you wanna go fast? Build a sand car and make it go fast. It's not hard to do. And will be a lot more fun when you can have your lady in the seat next to you while feeding your need for speed. Wow what a concept!

It would be so fun to put some drift tires on one of these 1000cc quads and hit a track with them. A far as one off road I think a v4 motor would be awesome so you don't have to be tacking so many rpms to make torque.
A ktm duke 1290 motor would be an amazing swap for the torque

These were all some great builds.. I liked the r6 on the 450 frame. The Banshees probably my favorite only because I'm an owner of one(not street bike engine installed unfortunately)🤔.. The last one sounds like he bout to blow up though. The problem with it was no traction sounded like over reving. I bet that Banshee w/gsxr'1000 is a phucN beast on dirt or blk top, if it would just hook up,.. I can imagine the amount of spin, my ol'97Banshee has 420cc ,coolheads,set pipes, well over $10k in the top&bottom end. It's same way it'll spin on dry pavement 1st-4th but ohh baby when it does hook up it really goes. So maybe change gear ratio around a bit will help.Can't win the holeshot if you are spinning and everyone else is passing you by. 🤯I think I found my next project. I was gonna build a buggy with 1,000-1,400cc engine however, after seeing the 1000cc Banshees I kinda want to go that route. Not as expensive and hella fun riding. But ,... Anyway 😎 Video..👍.

@marbinchen,.. Dude,That's messed UP!.!. Perhaps get someone to export from their country &import to your country. Unfortunately They stopped production on them here in the U.S. However you can special order from Yamaha but it's lil pricey or find one in good shape that's used. I purchased black &red'97 model in 1996 for $7,200 I think was cost.Then in 2004-05 I found 2 brand new 350Banshee both were stock for $5,000 they shipped from HongKong to U.S took me about 2months for them to arrive, they were 1998 carbon fiber editions(black on black) and were in crate never had been assembled or even rode prior to my purchase. I got really lucky on that find. I wish I would have kept all 3 but at the time I needed $$$ so I sold two for $6,500 each. A decent come up though. Probably cost three times as much now that's if were to be lucky enough to even find one that's brand new. Also I would've kept stock heads(350) instead of swapping out heads to a 420, then to 500 twin(street bike heads) the extra power is nice but parts started to get harder to get and reliability isn't as good as stock heads although the 420 setup with stroker crank, sst pipes, boysen rad valve/reeds, 34or43mm carbs(can't remember sorry) boost bottles, tweaked gearing was actually really good setup for bottom ,mid, and top end. It was very responsive. Most setups are either all takeoff(bottomend),or mids to top end. Rear tire size will affect this also. An 18' will have all take off as to a 20' and 22' more top end, it'll take longer to wind out. Various things can gain or shave a few mph off, i enjoyed playing around with different setups. I could ramble on forever about 2strokes and racing motorcross on various size dirtbikes and quads in my younger days but already have novel, sorry bout that.. Hope bit of info helps steer u in rite direction.
