Showing Ginger some love after two years. Don't seem long ago I was watching this video over and over. We ended up with a Grand Design 31MB, a mid bunk 5th wheel. Happy Travels guys!!!

Just started watching you since this morning, started with your newer videos, and I gotta say, I like this Ginger better than your new one. Love the bunkhouse! Yes I have been binge watching you back to back for the past 12 hours....I am hooked. We are just starting our RV journey, we have it sitting in our driveway waiting for retirement.....2 more months!

It may seem redundant but these videos are a hoot to watch....not only do you learn a heck of a lot but you feel energized by the skill of Tricia & Marcs presentations........oh and finally I think it shows how sincere they are when they emphasize that it doesn't matter what size rig you have just get out there and well, Keep Your Dream!

I'm glad you get it Trevor. Welcome. We do advocate to *start* where you are, but that doesn't mean to *stay* where you are. We make improvements and upgrades along the way that wouldn't have been possible if we didn't just start!

Really enjoyed your video - Saw hundreds of RV tours which typically talk about features, specs, etc. It was really nice to see an RV tour that shows how a family "uses" the RV. Well done!!

So...I watched this video when it came out and thought "man, that is my DREAM trailer!!" Fast forward to today, we are looking at upgrading because our 2016 Aspen Trail was damaged in a microburst and THIS was the trailer our friends showed us and we fell in love with!! We came home and I got to show this to my husband and we are seriously considering this upgrade when our trailer is fixed up and ready to go!!! Thank you!!

Since we already had a RAM 1500, we used this spreadsheet extensively when looking at RV's. It was the final "go or no go" data point when making a decision. Finally settled on a Surveyor Legend 203RKLE which was well within our towing capabilities...all the numbers.

Thanks to your video I discovered I am 300 pounds over GVWR. Load on my hitch combined with family of 4 and toys in bed of truck pushed it over the top. Considering moving some items into the trailer. That will take the load out of the pick up but put a little more tongue weight. Excited to go to the scales and figure this all out. Thank you very much for your hard work. You too are fun to watch.

Love love love this video!!! We have had 5 well loved and used trailers in the last 42 years ♥️ and I love sharing and learning trailer tips. TODAY we purchased our first ** NEW ** trailer. A 2019 Reflection 297rsts YIPPEE! Hubby is an astronomy ranger for 5 months each summer and we live for free with full hooks surrounded by pines, quakies, wildflowers, fabulous ranger family, dark skies with bright stars, visitors from around the world and beautiful wildlife at 10,350 altitude living the dream. Kids are grown, we now have our beautiful “grownup” trailer just for us to live in and travel. Now I am off to watch more of your videos 😁.

Cool How do you know if you can screw into the side of a camper or not? Some dealers have told me NEVER do that because wires could be behind the wall....just curious about how much you can do to outfit and customize. Like if you don't have a wall cabinet how do you know if you could install one above a toilet etc.

I think ALL women label containers and use them for storage:). We enjoy shopping for the right cute basket or container perfect for our stuff:). As soon as something tips over or falls out were headed back to Ross or the like. The magazine storage for under the sink is one we all jumped on after seeing on great storage ideas. That one is a win! Tension bars are a common remedy for keeping things from falling out during travel, especially for the fridge! TFS

Had a fifth wheel once. Didn't like loosing the bed space in my truck for a hitch that was so heavy to remove I didn't unless I had to. Second after falling down the steps from the bedroom to the bath a few times I sold it and went back to a regular trailer with a flat floor. Great looking trailer, looks better quality than the last.

Great ideas! One consideration about hanging caps on the wall... as you travel down the road those hats are swinging on the wall, which wears the material on those contact points. I hung my caps the same way in my 18 wheeler and now all of them are threadbare at two points on the bill where they were resting against the wall. That was only after about a year.

Just ordered the drying rack for our rig! Look into a hitch mounted rock guard for the Alaska trip. It mounts in the ball receiver between the truck and the rv to protect it. It's like a giant mud flap but goes all the way across. Alaska is know for the rock damage on its highways.

Great video as always! I will definitely use the awesome tips to organize our fifth wheel we just purchased six months ago. We upgraded from a Jay-flight 26 ft travel trailer to a 39 ft Denali fifth wheel because we needed more privacy and room i.e. Bathroom was too small, couch was not big enough for the family to enjoy a movie together, bedroom did not have a walk around bed and no closet space and the kitchen is now much roomier, which makes cooking and serving more enjoyable. Once you live in an RV for a while you notice the things that are important to you. Advice for those who are thinking of buying a new RV, try to focus on what is important to you to feel comfortable before you choose a certain RV model.
I enjoyed touring your awesome RV. You did a great job in describing everything. I’m looking forward to learning more about your future upgrades. Enjoy your new RV and always Happy Safe Travels!

As always great video.... I learn a lot from your video's. It is a lot different than the Campers I use to tow around on the job I just retired from....Biggest camper I ever had at work was a 48 foot with 5 pop's... It weighed 49.000 lbs dry... It was quite a chore keeping up with it... I towed it with a Freightliner twin screw tractor with a walk in sleeper. It was quite the rig.....I just bought a 30 footer to travel with...Off and running soon... Well you take care and be safe.... I will be behind you someday... Just have to get started.....Thanks...

One thing I figured out in our rig that you may love is a second tension rod in your shower. You have the height as well. I put another tension rod along the back of the shower about 4-6 inches from the wall. Then I took the shower curtain hooks and left like 4-5 on it so that we have a place to hang our suits and towels. That way everything drips directly into the tub and not down the wall! Everything seems to dry a lot faster that way as well!

I have one additional con to add. There is no external cap for adding water into your fresh tank. While the Nautilus is awesome (it really is) I would like to be able to carry a few 6 gallon containers of fresh water to supplement the fresh tank when boondocking. 72 gallons is better than 60, no? I did not notice but here's a tip if for if the rod in your closet is a regular style hanging rod (which for the record, is my preference compared to those "travelling rods" (which look like a tin I-beam with triangles cut out to place the hangers in) that some RV manufacturers install. Mind you, this tip isn't for everyone but some people might want to limit the journeys that their hanging clothes sometimes might embark upon. :p Go to your local hardware store and buy a length of flexible tubing that is around the same size as the rod (only "slightly" larger) and slip that AROUND your rod before reinstalling it in the closet. The ridges of the tubing will help keep the hangers in place but STILL allow you to move them left and right easily enough. Great rig, you two. I really like Grand Design.

Looks Awesome! I love that your counter has the undermounted sink. Makes for a much larger usable space. I bet it feels so good to have so much more room for everybody and everything. My husband would love that very large pass through underneath! We have opposing slides and an island as well in a 30' Heartland Wilderness. Everyone is so surprised at the amount of space when they come inside. I have a con as well about the opposing slides since our bathroom is in the rear. Every time we stop and need to use the bathroom, I have to push out one of the slides at least 6 inches so I can squeeze through to the back. We are fulltimers as well and are feeling ready for an upgrade to a fifth wheel too. We'll see.

Hearing Tricia talk about stuff falling out...in a future video you can put a camera IN the RV while you are driving and maybe hang something from the ceiling vent so we can see just how much movement is inside an RV while we are driving. I have heard so many horror stories about what happens in an RV while you are driving and I think it would be interesting to see for real. Keep up the great work! So far I have gotten lucky, or maybe my trailer is just well organized in my plastic bins...Nice storage under the RV, still don't think it has enough room for all your hoses Marc... LOL
