GD is having a hard season right now. Watching what Paving New Paths is going through. We love watching you guys. Chad has taught me a bunch from your channel. GD better treat you guys well or I'll stage a protest in front of their facilities and office.
We have a ‘21 Reflection 303RLS. Wouldn’t want anything bigger or smaller. IMO, a perfect 5er for a couple. Easy to tow with our F250 Diesel, easy to park, plenty of room. We love it.
😊 we have stayed at the campground you are at and have a rear living camper so we pulled in so the rear was facing the water. Had to run the power and sewer under the camper but not a big problem and we could watch the sunset.
Omg yall stayed in the exact same site we did at that KOA! We loved our stay there. All of the staff there were super friendly and helpful, and the park is so peaceful and just pretty!
We've had our 36' Phaeton now for four years, thinking of possibly changing up, and trying a 5th wheel, but once arrival happens, our coach seems so simple (especially on a rainy day) where we pull up, put out one slide (plenty of room for us both) and if needed, I'll put a block under the low tire, and not even use our levellers, and we're done. Of course having the wet bay, where everything is makes sanitation easier as well, in not having to crawl under the unit. I know the 'pluses' of fifth wheels, but no setting up of stairs is another one with the coach, yet I do miss my old F450 dually King Ranch, where we hauled our Arctic Fox slide in camper to the Yukon & Alaska and back amongst other trips to Utah for ATV riding in the back country! Still side lined, on changing up, yet our coach is getting older, but so far I've been able to keep up on the 'fix-it's. Thanks for the video, always enjoy the many locations you share with us, along with the upgrades Chad does, and a very late 'Happy Birthday' to Chad as well!
We have a Montana 294RL with that same 4 point auto level system and it took us abit to get used to how much extendable leg to drop in the front to allow the auto level system to retract enough especially on a driveway that slopes down a lot. We love the ground control system because we're able to see just how many degrees we're off level side to side in the event we need to throw a block under the wheels on one side.
We've been to the Mt. Pleasant KOA several times and have enjoyed each stay. The camp store office has some nice items for purchase. Really helpful, friendly staff too.
All we do is start the fridge the day before ( we have a 16 cu.ft. 12v compressor fridge.) load food the day of travel and put in clothes, towels and shoes the night before. We have all the chairs, hoses, cables, etc. in the camper storage. I do have to load a ladder, grill, smokeless fire pit, wood and safety road cones in the back of the truck. We have all the plates, bowls, utensils and accessories in the camper.
It would be interesting to hear your opinion on the most popular "Rear Living room / kitchen" floorplan vs the Toy Hauler Living Room / Kitchen layout.
Awesome. We full time and have 2 RVs. A 39 foot Vilano and a 24 Foot bumper pull. We call the 24 footer our summer home. We use that one for short trips. We have found you just have to have 2 sets of certain items so you don’t move items from one trailer to the other. If I don’t use my checklist I forget something. Thanks for the video
We use that surge guard from Southwire on our Reflection 150 series 260rd 5ver and love it. I can sit in my chair drinking some Barley pops and know everything about my trailer using the surge guard Bluetooth and my Compass Connect. I can control all. I am Oz of my campsite!
I’m so glad you’re back on the road. I love watching your videos because you keep it real. You mix your videos with real life issues such as health and things. I love seeing the different RVs and how you take life with a grain of salt. You’re my favorite family. Can’t wait to see more of you this year.
Another awesome video. I haven't been around a ot but I saw your video pop up and had to check it out.. You videos really get me pumped to get one for my wife and I. Be safe and I'll keep watching..
Just because of you, we have those same 2 pop up Christmas trees like you have on your steps. We put both of them out on our front porch. Thanks to my couponing, I get batteries really cheap. They are really cute.
Nice to try a shorter RV. Hope you share a couple more videos on this 28RL. I would love to see how you decided to store items - kitchen, computer and video items, etc.
Have you ever camped at Lakewood RV Resort in Myrtle Beach S.C. we have camled there for 30 plus yrs thats where we always took our kids when they were growing up now taking grand kids there now ! There is a water park for kids and a water park for Grown up kids ! Also we camp a lot in Pigeon Forge Tenn. Its bout 11/2 from Church Hill Tenn. Working man can only camp when he takes off or id do a lot more trips to different places but vacation only lasts so long ! Once again Happy Camping to you all !
Great video, informative as always. A sanitizing hack I use is to fill the water filter canister with the right amount of bleach, fill the freshwater tank, then run it through the system.
Wonderful. First time watching your channel and loved how you secured your pet for the drive, all people should do that. I also liked the mansplaining the steps of preparing for a trip in simple terms. Can't wait for the next vid.
We have a 2020 GD Reflection 337RLS and love it, we have all electric jacks and the two main slides sound just like that one you have! Love the Reflection line
I laughed as you were setting up the trailer. It was like watching a new RV owner going through their first year of ownership. The oven pan not fitting made me think of big city mouse moving into a country mouse home. (😂😂) enjoyed your video as always. You are a trusted source of information.
Great video and you chose several of my regular visited places. I hadn't seen you guys recently because UA-cam always messing with algorithm. And immediately I wondered what happened to your custom designed much larger RV. Then I saw what happened wow, I hope you get everything fixed to make coming in and out much better. Take care and safe travels.
You have the best music for your videos. I love it. OOh, that narrow section with semi trucks looked very scary. Daisy is so cute. I would like a small dog like her.
Chad/Tara, I was planning to thank yall for the IS video given I just left today w my reflection with 7k axles on my IS install and look at this new video drops with yall demonstrating reflection…. Thanks again
On my ‘04 Montana 3295RK I can lift one front landing gear at a time (opposite side will carry it) if I screw up and set the legs too low to level. Not sure you could do that with today’s 5er’s with all of the frame flex issues.
When you park if the front end is nose high you don't drop the front jacks as low, If the front end is low you'll need to drop the front jacks further. If the front end is really low the front jacks may not have enough lift to get it off the truck, but that's rare. And when that happens you raise the front end and use other jacks or blocks to hold the frame up, retract the jacks and drop the jack extensions lower, then extend the jacks again. I use a bubble level app on my cell on the floor inside the door to get some idea how high/low the front end is. Also when unhitching pull straight forward and clear the truck from under the RV then level the RV, that way if you must re-hitch to adjust the landing legs shorter you don't waste time getting lined back up. 371MBH 41' fiver. Don
We enjoy your videos, they're great! They are so entertaining and professional. It's fun to try a new rig! Daisy is so adorable! I had a Daisy who was a black boykin spaniel - named after Daisy Duke.
We started out with a 28ft. 5th Wheel, the downside for us was it only had one A/C. My husband travelled with it for work in places that reached over 100° temps. 🥵 Always worried it would quit working. Upgraded to a 36ft 5th Wheel with 2 A/C.😊 The 28 trailer works great for 2 people.
I-26 near Columbia is horrible, you would think DOT would still have some kind of tolerances with temporary portions of road. We live in Summerville near Charleston, the KOA in Mount Pleasant is very nice. BTW if you like BBQ you need to go to Lewis’s BBQ the best brisket there is. If you like seafood, you need to try The Wreck of Richard and Charlene, it’s in Mt Pleasant.
I love watching (and learning from) all your videos! Please provide a link for your freshwater connections. I found the heavy-duty Y connector on your Amazon page, but not the 45-degree angle connector. Thanks and safe travels!
We much prefer having a Camp Side Slide as that is where the views are always at! Our 303 fits into smaller state and federal parks and can also tow a small trailer or boat behind it and be within legal limits in most states
We stayed there a few summers back. Awesome location and campground! So I have the same auto-level system and my unit has a "ground front jacks" option. Yours doesn't?
Charleston is my hometown. It was fun watching ya'll getting use to setting up the Reflection with the electric versus hydralic systems. We had a Jayco Eagle HT 27RS which is the exact same floorplan right down to no bedroom slide. I think you will (or found out) that floorplan works very well. We would go for 3-4 weeks at a time and always felt it made a good couples camper. We've downsized again to a 28' Airstream but haven't been out more than a week. So far, no regrets. The Airstreams pulls so easy. I can't wait to see what you took in during your visit to Chucktown.
What are the pads to use for when you use the ramp on the back of the toy hauler to load up toys? I have a 21G Momentum and are soon going to put a toy in it but don't have those pads to protect the garage door when it is on the ground. Thank you!
My wife and I have been following you guys for quite a while! Part-time RVers at this point but looking to go more full-time in a few years. On roads, I-16 in Georgia is another "bumpy" road to avoid if possible as its like riding on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel with the "feel of the ocean". We have a 2021 Reflection 150 260RD that we currently tow with a '21 F150 Platinum Crew Cab (eventually we want to move up to 350 series). Our Reflection has the same leveling system and once you "learn" the in's-and-outs of it is pretty easy. We use the magnetic jack blocks for the front legs along with some flat snap pads for rear legs. One thing I did not see you mention is that with the One-Control App (Bluetooth) you can control the features without having to reach in to the control panel (plus have a better view of what is going on). As always, safe travels!
I live very close to the section of I-26 that you were on. It is terrible and has been like that for a very long time. We are ready for the construction to be done
Well, that smaller trailer has got to feel strange after pulling the bigger rigs. A lot easier maneuvering and getting through traffic. I doubt that y'all are ready to trade down. It really looked like Miss Daisy was ready to go. God bless y'all and stay safe on the road. Don't let that little trailer get you too spoiled. By the way, think Tara said it was your birthday, well, Happy belated Birthday Chad. May you enjoy many more sir !
I miss RVing so much but we just got tired of the “always something!!” We had a Super C and after our last trip of generator AND a problem with the def sensor to the tune of $9k, we’re done! But I’m so sad and miss it so much. I just wish someone out there would make a rig that worked well!! 😩😢
Sorry but glad to hear you finally got stuff together. I was gonna go Black Series about 3 years ago I noticed their quality had drastically changed in a bad way (I live relatively close to city of industry). I was seeing all sort of “cheap” changes from the year previous. Long story short the wife and I changed our minds and searched high n low for about 2 years and bought ourselves a x195 Imperial outdoors. Black Series is a pretty trailer, but lost they way/roots when they went full chineasium for profit. They conpanu should be ashamed to call themselves an “outback” caravan.
Use a dogbone adapter... You'll want one anyway for when you stay in older parks that only have 30A. gear.changinglanesrv.com/product/camco-rv-dogbone-electrical-adapter-30-amp-male-to-50-amp-female/
Have you guys ever tried a class C? We have a nice 32footer and tow a 4WD vehicle behind it. I cant go back to truck towing now it’s so much easier to be inside the RV while traveling! Makes everything less complicated and smoother on travel days. Of course I can’t bring a motorcycle with so you guys would be out of luck there!
After having a huge RV it's fun to take something smaller, lighter, and more maneuverable RV on occasion.
GD is having a hard season right now. Watching what Paving New Paths is going through. We love watching you guys. Chad has taught me a bunch from your channel. GD better treat you guys well or I'll stage a protest in front of their facilities and office.
It's not just Paving new paths. I have been seeing a lot of issues with frame failure in GD RVs. They are building crap in nice rappers.
They said they worked with GD, designing their new RV. I doubt they will be addressing any issues on this Channel.
We have a ‘21 Reflection 303RLS. Wouldn’t want anything bigger or smaller. IMO, a perfect 5er for a couple. Easy to tow with our F250 Diesel, easy to park, plenty of room. We love it.
Mt Pleasant KOA is great. Spent a week there about 18 months ago. Charleston is a wonderful place to visit.
Found your channel about 3-4 weeks ago and I can’t stop watching. I’ve been looking at RV’s a lot lately.
Welcome aboard! 😀
😊 we have stayed at the campground you are at and have a rear living camper so we pulled in so the rear was facing the water. Had to run the power and sewer under the camper but not a big problem and we could watch the sunset.
Nice timing on the review of the reflection, we just bought a 27BH
Happy Birthday Chad. Watching this video and the set up makes me appreciate our Momentum. Safe travels.
Omg yall stayed in the exact same site we did at that KOA! We loved our stay there. All of the staff there were super friendly and helpful, and the park is so peaceful and just pretty!
We just left that KOA when I’m watching this video. Back in 2012 we had that Reflection and loved it. So cozy and easy to fit anywhere. Safe travels.
Nice, we love Reflections, we have the 337RLS. We are looking forward to see where you go next.

Nice rig. We have the 29RS which is the same layout with the exception of a bedroom slide.
It's a nice "couples coach".
Safe travels!
We've been to the Mt. Pleasant KOA several times and have enjoyed each stay. The camp store office has some nice items for purchase. Really helpful, friendly staff too.
I just purchased a 2024 Reflection 150 series 260RD and found you video helpful and informative. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to see daisy is harnessed in. Safe for the ride!
All we do is start the fridge the day before ( we have a 16 cu.ft. 12v compressor fridge.) load food the day of travel and put in clothes, towels and shoes the night before. Weather is awesome here in Charleston, come on down! Still a little cool in the morning (40s) but touching mid 70s in the day all weekend long!❤
Sorry everybody... it's been like 40-55 since I posted this comment. That's my fault, jinxed it for the rest of us! ;)
It would be interesting to hear your opinion on the most popular "Rear Living room / kitchen" floorplan vs the Toy Hauler Living Room / Kitchen layout.
Oh, those are NICE! You get a lot of floorplan options when you nix the garage. 😊
1. As a South Carolinan we hate I-26 aswell....
2. "Hold still" auto level part was hilarious.
3. Doggy getting excited to go in New Rv was ADORABLE.
Thank you very much. That really is roomy for bing so short. I have a class A and I am thinking about going back to a towable. Perfect size!
We are heading to Charleston in June. I can't wait! I miss the RV.
We use that surge guard from Southwire on our Reflection 150 series 260rd 5ver and love it. I can sit in my chair drinking some Barley pops and know everything about my trailer using the surge guard Bluetooth and my Compass Connect. I can control all. I am Oz of my campsite!

I love seeing the different RVs and how you take life with a grain of salt. You’re my favorite family. Can’t wait to see more of you this year.
Happy Birthday, young feller!
I love this smaller camper looks more manageable . Enjoy your trip 😎🐾🐾
Just watched the newest video. Great job! I guess the smaller could be easier to handle for quick short trips. Can't wait for your next video.
Another awesome video. I haven't been around a ot but I saw your video pop up and had to check it out.. You videos really get me pumped to get one for my wife and I. Be safe and I'll keep watching..
I have the same floorplan in my Salem Hemisphere 34" bumper pull. We really like the set up.
Exciting journey ahead! Loved seeing your prep and the new RV tour. Can't wait for more adventures! 😊
Ok Daisy steals the show! Too cute!
Our grandkids live in Mt Pleasant, 18 + hrs from us😢 . We have stayed at that park many times ,it's very nice .

Once again Happy Camping to you all !
When dewinterizing, open low point drains and faucets. Then run clear water through All lines. Then do the sanitizing.
As always guys, great video! 🙂
We've stayed there before when we went shrimping for a weekend. Nice place. Happy late birthday Chad!!
That’s a big change from the 410 to the 100 series. We have the 150 series and love it for our part time home.
Well that was a surprise. Looked like a nice rig but what a pain switching all of the stuff over. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
We love that KOA! And happy belated birthday
My aunt lived in Mt Pleasant, beautiful town, with great food around.
We have a 2020 GD Reflection 337RLS and love it, we have all electric jacks and the two main slides sound just like that one you have!
Love the Reflection line
I have a Montana Highcountry 295 RL and I love it and after seeing this reflection I’m glad I got the Montana Highcountry
The words in the music...It's coming I can feel it. My mind... Frame disaster I can feel it
Welcome to the RV Collectors Guild. We also have a Momentum and a Reflection. I just can’t get the Mo into places we like to go. It makes sense !
Happy late Birthday Chad🎉🎉🎉🎉🍾🍾🎂🍩🍨 Like the smaller RV also Daisy looks so cute running around!! Safe travels Tara and Chad.
Blessings from Greer,SC!
Enjoy❤ Happy Birthday Chad 🎉
Highly entertaining! Glad to see you on the road.
Great video guys!!!
We love our Reflection!
We looked at that campground buy prefer the city park at James island ... lots of bike paths !
Happy belated BIRTH day anniversary Chad!
GO NAVY!
ps… Daisy on your bed was too 🥰 cute!
Highly recommend James Island County Park at Charleston. Especially at Christmas as the park is loaded with Christmas lights.
Agreed! 😊 ua-cam.com/video/glM0pWcJQDM/v-deo.html
Cries in Canadian this makes me want to un winterize and start camping!!!
Love the ball cap. RCN retired. Another year before we are on the run away from winter schedule
On my ‘04 Montana 3295RK I can lift one front landing gear at a time (opposite side will carry it) if I screw up and set the legs too low to level. Not sure you could do that with today’s 5er’s with all of the frame flex issues.

We enjoy your videos, they're great! They are so entertaining and professional. It's fun to try a new rig!
Daisy is so adorable! I had a Daisy who was a black boykin spaniel - named after Daisy Duke.
We have a Cougar 2100 RK we love it. But when we go full time in few years. We will upgrade to one a little bigger
I have a 35 foot bumper pull toy hauler. I can definitely tell the difference when I tow a smaller trailer.
Thats about the size of our RV and we love it.
We had a lot of fun in it! 👍🏼
I agree you tell
The truth always
Charleston is my hometown. It was fun watching ya'll getting use to setting up the Reflection with the electric versus hydralic systems. We had a Jayco Eagle HT 27RS which is the exact same floorplan right down to no bedroom slide. I think you will (or found out) that floorplan works very well. We would go for 3-4 weeks at a time and always felt it made a good couples camper. We've downsized again to a 28' Airstream but haven't been out more than a week. So far, no regrets. The Airstreams pulls so easy.
I can't wait to see what you took in during your visit to Chucktown.
An airstream would be fun to try out! 😊
The Reflection reminds me of my 28 ft Imagine TT, but it just hit me how nice your 410 really is.
I just saw an Isata 5 in your camp ground! That is what we will be full timing in starting next year.
That looks like a great RV!
What are the pads to use for when you use the ramp on the back of the toy hauler to load up toys? I have a 21G Momentum and are soon going to put a toy in it but don't have those pads to protect the garage door when it is on the ground. Thank you!
We are literally watching your video right now in the same campground about 10 sites over from where you were.
I26 in South Carolina is a horrendous road!
That’s great info. We plan to downsize once we buy a home.

God bless y'all and stay safe on the road. Don't let that little trailer get you too spoiled.
By the way, think Tara said it was your birthday, well, Happy belated Birthday Chad. May you enjoy many more sir !
Thanks. Nice rig.
Happy Birthday Chad. Hope you had a great day
Always enjoy your videos.
Had to laugh at your opinion of I26. Like all roads in SC, it sucks!!
We really enjoy your videos and would love to know what breed your lovely little pup is.
Daisy is a "Morkie", which is a Maltese/Yorkie mix. 🐶
I miss RVing so much but we just got tired of the “always something!!” We had a Super C and after our last trip of generator AND a problem with the def sensor to the tune of $9k, we’re done! But I’m so sad and miss it so much. I just wish someone out there would make a rig that worked well!! 😩😢
We used to leave all the blinds up when traveling on cold days to use that solar heating and warm up the rig. Don't do that in the sulmmer tho!🥵
who is the band singing the 'When we're together' song? I love that version.
Sorry but glad to hear you finally got stuff together. I was gonna go Black Series about 3 years ago I noticed their quality had drastically changed in a bad way (I live relatively close to city of industry). This is funny. We stayed at KOA Mt Pleasant on October 2019 at the exact same site you had. 😂
Happy belated Birthday Chad!
We just received our SurgeGuard today! Unfortunately it won’t fit our shop’s 30amp plug in for when we have it at the house to fill it.
Good luck with the new 5th Wheel
Nice. You guys have a very nice home and RV's I bet you get good fuel mileage with small RV 👍👍
