It is apparent that you are a very good teacher. I have loved the way you choose the words to explain the concepts and that you demystify key points. Thank you so much. It helped me a lot!
I HAVE JUST ADDED this lesson in the bookmarks of my browser! Thank you very much for such a clear explanation. All of your lessons are very helpful for me, but this one is the most useful, because I have some problem with usage of the present perfect tense.)
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot the login password. I would love any help you can offer me
This video is the simplest explanation of the present perfect tense I've seen. 1. Duration of time 2. Indefinite past 3. Repeated past action 4. The very recent past This is about past participle. and then you should have it now! You have "past participle that means 1,2,3,4" now.
Million thanks.... I am non native English teacher.... And English is not my specialty.... Just i got a job some how and i was stuck in this lesson till i found your video.... I am totally fine now.... I appreciated.... Thanks.... God blesd you... I hope i will do fine with students Tomorrow God will.
What about using the Simple Past with no specific time? I used to struggle with the Present Perfect until I realize that some native speakers do use the Simple Past whithout mentioning the specific time, which oftenly confuses non-native speakers. Could you please make a video about it?
Great! Wanted to use this for a lesson of mine, but I need something that also mentions the other contexts like experiences, etc. But this is super clear and concise.
I have some questions to you and expecting to be answered quickly. 1) House has burnt. 2) Shop has opened. 3) Show has started. 4) The document has submitted. Now tell me if the first three sentences are correct which I know are correct why the fourth one is wrong. What is the logic behind this or which rules make the first three sentences correct and make the fourth one wrong. Many other examples are following 1) Room filled with balloons. (correct in past simple.) 2) Room was filling with water. (not correct in past continuous but why?) 3) Glass broke. (correct in past simple.) 4) Glass was breaking. (not correct in past continuous but why?)
i've been trying to understand the perfects tenses a while, and your video was very helpful. in my mother tongue there's not such thing as perfect tenses, because it's not important to say the moment of when an action has happened. so it's been very hard to understand it.
Thanks for this lesson but I have some confuse .what the difference between : I have worked a teacher since 1990 2::I have been working a teacher since 1990. Thanks in advance.
I know that present perfect is an action started in the past and continues until now or today. HOWEVER, I'm always confused the meaning of "continue until now". That means the action is still working now? For instance, "I have eaten pizza." means I am eating the pizza now? or the action is finished, but the result impact me?
please teacher how can I know if this sentence has spoken at a time or for a reason. "Having lost alot of money in business, he doesn't want to risk his money any more.
Thanks sir.but I have a Little be confusions about this type of sentences. e.g. I have been living in new York since my childhood. "I have lived in new York since my childhood. Which one is correct. Second one is present perfect, isn't it?
Hiii, Could you help me to understand the grammar of the following sentences: Food has cooked Flight has delayed Show has canceled Fire truck has arrived Are those sentences grammatically correct or these should be in passive form . Thanks
I am teacher since 1988...present indefinite.. Mean it's valid for 1988 to still... And no longer more..,, But when we write...I have been teacher since 1988......mean.....you are still teacher... (Only time is complete.... But your action.. Not completed....
Something starts in the past and continues UP until now. Why did he use this UP in the middle of the phrase ? I get confused when I see this prepositions in the phrase sometimes. Is it a phrasal verb ?
The way you describe it, it looks easy. I’m gonna practice whenever I have time. Thanks.

I am a teacher since 1988 vs I have been a teacher since 1988 =both have same meaning, then what is the reason of using present perfect.
I am teacher since 1988...present indefinite.. Mean it's valid for 1988 to still... And no longer more..,,
But when we write...I have been teacher since 1988......mean.....you are still teacher... (Only time is complete.... But your action.. Not completed....
