Enjoy your well-deserved vacation Dani! Thank you always for creating these fun videos and for sharing your orchid knowledge. It has been a nice escape for me during this interesting year. I hope you continue for years to come!
Great video Danny, your orchids are so beautiful. Thank you for all that you do, I have learned so much from watching your videos. Hope you have a safe and happy new year.
Hi and Happy New Year! .I got my Siam jade in bud feb 2019. The 3 blooms were strongly fragrant and lasted for 18 days. 5 months later in the middle of the heatwave in summer she blasten her next 3 new almost fylly developed buds. ..Then she got severely attacked by scale.. now shes rencovering with a massive root growth.. but she sure is a strange orchid,,, indeed...
They are all absolutely gorgeous! Now I guess I need Dendrobium orchids, they're so beautiful... This is a bit off topic, but I've been following you for a few months now, and I wanted to say a big thank you, as your amazing videos helped me save one of my Phalaenopsis that I love so much. It's not even a special plant per say, just a solid very velvety dark fuschia/purple no ID phal with big flowers, rescued from a grocery store about three years ago (the flowers were still quite pretty but the leaves and roots were almost completely rotten, so I got it for less than three dollars), but it was one of my first orchids and I absolutely adore it. It got sick again a few weeks ago but I managed to stop the stem rot thanks to your awesome advices, and it's growing a new root already, though it lost many roots and three leaves in the process. The stem fortunately isn't dead, though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have noticed in time if it weren't for your videos 🙂 Thank you so much for helping people saving their orchids, these plants are so often just thrown away when they're not in bloom anymore or when they get sick, while they can often be saved with good care. The hydrogen peroxide + cinnamon technique worked wonders for my orchid ❤️ Happy holidays!
I got an orchid for Christmas and immediately started my research. You're amazing! One of my orchid's middle leaves is yellowing and some seemed dry around the leaf edges, leading me to believe there could be sunburn. 🤔 I wonder, why don't florist just start by putting them in pots with proper drainage? Repotting supplies are enroute! Happy 2020!
Great video! 🙂 I saw the picture about the peloric tolumnia on your Instagram and I made there also a comment. Because it’s mislabelled, I have this too from OrchidGarden, it’s called Zelemnia Midas (Tolumnia Red Belt × Zelenkoa onusta) 🙂
I voted for the rcl Mahina Yahiro. I love the color & size. It is the classic corsage orchid that brings images of proms, ball gowns, high heel shoes, parties and falling in love for the first time.
I am so envious of your orchid collection. So beautiful! Could you do a video on some of your favorite online orchid sellers and best cold hardy orchids? I live in the Pacific Northwest and my orchids keep dying on me. I need some massive help on finding some that will survive cold to warm weather. Thanks! Enjoy your vacation. You deserve it!
As an orchid newbie - I have thoroughly enjoyed your video casts immensely!! I have learnt a lot, and also to form my own decisions on care. As a Caribbean grower, our methods are slightly different to "apartment/indoor" growing and techniques. I'm so glad I have a decent sized porch which is full of "sunlight"! - for now, as the sun direction is now ESE, and will pretty soon move to ENE; this is when I will need to relocate my orchids (mostly dendrobiums, with a few "rescued" NoID's, one oncidium, one cattleya [in ICU] and two phalaenopsis). So far, I have pinpointed a lower level. They do get a little spray of rain now and again which they seem to love. In the meantime, wishing you all the best for the coming year, and I look forward to more info and techniques. And "YES" I do save the videos which are pertinent to me.
Gorgeous blooms! Your Cattleya Aurantiaca Hybrid looks exactly like my Rth. Shinfong Little Sun "Young-Min Golden Boy", but mine only puts out 1 bloom *sob*. Same colour and shape though :)
Also, thank you so much for your fabulous videos. I absolutely watch when things get tough. In fact, this year my orchid collection jumped from 20 orchids or so to 80, and there are so many more that I would love to have! I'm totally on the hunt for a Cattleya Chantilly Lace 'Twinkle!'
So hard to decide! Tolumia genting volcano is mesmerizing, Den Blue happiness flower display is so impressive I’m almost envious and the Cattleya Qing Ming wins my heart over the color and fragrance description I love roses so I’ll be searching for that one but for best in show I voted for Blue Happiness!
Cattleychea Siam Jade is the one that captured me so I voted for that one. Have never seen one in flower shop but if I ever see one, I'll definitely give it a go.
Enjoyed watching . They are all very beautiful . The red cattleya ( rose scented ) is my favorite. I watched two full lenght adds for you so i hope you get some $$$ 🤗
Wow ! The Trichocentrum Maureen x haematochilum is absolutely amazing. Love the foliage as much as the flowers 😍 Thank you for your videos, they are such a joy and Happy New Year when it comes !!
Hi Danni, I voted, funny enough, for the Qing Ming Beauty. Love the colour!! I'm not a Cattleya person, more of an Oncidium, but the colours on the Qing Ming gets my vote this time! the Peggy Ruth comes in close second. Thank you for your wonderful videos💕 , they are a great place to "get lost" from the real world. All the while learning new things! 💖
I'm voting for the Trichocentrum!! It's so unique, can't say I've seen an Oncidium like it before. Also, I didn't know your bf made your logo! That's sweet 💘 Can't wait to see how much you & Repotme raised for your campaign! Happy new year 🎉
I wonder if a mist pump, such as are used in vivariums, could be installed fo your Nellie Isler type orchids. On a timer, you can set the mist to work in the hottest times. Use R.O. water & I think you will find it very cooling if the mist falls from above the plants
You should try to find RLC.George King 'Serendipity' it is a very popular, heritage cattleya in the USA. It has huge flowers and beautiful salmon/sunset colors and it is scented.
I think that Trichocentrum hybrid is registered as “Ollie Palmer”? I have it too, and I agree it is so much more fragrant than I was expecting! I love it too.
Hello Danny, I really don't know which one I shall vote, they are all so beautiful. But I would like to have Dendrobium Thailand Black, love the color, so I vote for it.
Hi Danny, I voted for the Den blue happiness, she’s beautiful 🤩! I love her color. Here’s wishing you and all of your viewers a Very Healthy and Happy 2021! Hope everyone is staying safe and at home 🏡 enjoying your family and your Orchids! Enjoy your well deserved break and we’ll see you soon! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😷🦜🕊🪴🥂
I truly enjoy your presentations, this is my first full year as a subscriber and as a marketing person who also enjoys the orchid obsession I wish you and your boyfriend a happy and safe new year. It’s got to be better. Pete from Canada
Hey Danny! If i want air channels to stay open in the medium, can i put earthworms in? I have a miltoniopsis in a hot climate so the medium isn’t as airy as usual
I have been looking for it for weeks and I found it in a Romanian website ! Also wrote emails to nurseries and if I remember it correctly orchidgarden replied that they will get it in the end of winter 😇 if that helps ...
I vote for the bankok sunset! I've been looking for one for a long time, I could only find it on eBay but they don't send it to Europe... Really disappointed. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get one here? Loved the video!
How do you achieve, and/or, what do you use for the black background for your videos. I once used a black tablecloth as background to photograph one of my orchids for posting (a dendrobium yaya mini). The results were OK, as the black TC was really BLACK!!!
My Perreirara Bangkok Sunset did not put out spikes this year for some reason 😭 anyways it's only over a year old in my collection. But do you know how many times a year can it bloom?? PS- you wrote "ear" not "year" on the video title by mistake 😅
First comment. Please try Mokara orchid. I tried a Mokara orchid barerotted, like vanda. But, it didn't serve. I serched Google and UA-cam for Mokara orchid's care. But, there is no English video. Please help me to save my almost died Mokara orchid. You must take this as challenging...
Beautiful blooms, gorgeous orchids, it’s always pleasure to watch your video!
All very beautiful! I vote for the Rhyncattleanthe Qing Ming Beauty.
All beautiful! But the color and contrast of the Qing Ming is outstanding
Enjoy your well-deserved vacation Dani! Thank you always for creating these fun videos and for sharing your orchid knowledge. It has been a nice escape for me during this interesting year. I hope you continue for years to come!
Happy New Year! Here's to an infinitely better one! 🥂🧡
Rhyncattleanthe Qing Ming beauty is my favorite also. Contrasting colors jumps out with added bonus of fragrance.
I voted Bangkok sunset because , the color story of warm colors is amazing , i love this yellow and pink combo , it is defenetly ob my wishlist
I want a Tolumnia Genting Volcano so bad! I just love the shape of Tolumnia flowers and the color patterns! And being small is a huge plus.
Great video Danny, your orchids are so beautiful. Thank you for all that you do, I have learned so much from watching your videos. Hope you have a safe and happy new year.
The Dendrobium Blue Happiness looks magical:) Love it!
My favourite is the Perrierrara Bangkok Sunset, because I like Vanda Types and I like the quantity and coloration of the flowers.
great video.. i couldn't pick a favorite love them all.. Happy New Year..
1 bloom every year

I'd like to vote for the Siam Jade. 😍 I can't get over that beautiful shade of green! 💚
This was also one of my favourites. I love greens and whites!!
Love seeing your beautiful Orchids 🥰🕊
Thank you so much for sharing your orchids with us! Have a Happy Healthy New Year ❤️!
Happy New Year! Here's to an infinitely better one! 🥂🧡
The Thailand Black is also called Velvet Melody. I have one and it is doing really well.
Rhyncattleanthe Qing Ming Beauty! The colours of the flowers are stunning. And when you told us of the rose scent, I was sold. I have to have her ❤️
I got an orchid for Christmas and immediately started my research. You're amazing!

All of them are awesome! But the Trichocentrum stands out for me. Small size, fragrant, stunning flowers... my choice!
Happy New Year 2021!!! May it be the best yet!!!🎄☃️🍾🎁💐💝🕊🧞♂️🥂🎆

I love the cattleya mahina yahiro. Gorgeous!

I voted for Blue Happiness, it's mad vigorous and the flower show is spectacular!
I was between 2...both are my favourite.... But Bangkok sunset will win my vote ( i hope soon see mine bloom)!! Happy holidays!!
Hav a Happy and healthy New Year. Just love the Dendrobium Banana Chocolate.
I love the Tolumnia Genting Volcano. I love how delicate the flowers are. I must be getting ready for some Tolumnias in my life!
Aliceara Peggy Ruth Carpenter gets my vote. Spectacular.
Gorgeous blooms! Your Cattleya Aurantiaca Hybrid looks exactly like my Rth. Shinfong Little Sun "Young-Min Golden Boy", but mine only puts out 1 bloom *sob*. Same colour and shape though :)
Great video as always! My Encyclia vetellina is in bloom now as well🥰 Love it. Best wishes and very Happy New year to everyone 🎅

Oh thank you for this parade of beauty, especially for the tip about the orchid which has a scent which reminds you of fresh fruity roses!
I absolutely love the Qing Ming Beauty. I have added it to my wish list! I believe I will be able to get it here in South Florida.
I wanted to vote for RCT Qing Ming Beauty but hands down I voted for the other RCT. The size of that flower did it for me, that's why I voted for her.
Try wuttiphanara manoonya its a pereiraara bangkok sunset descendant and have a wonderful flowers 😍😍
Cattleychea Siam Jade is the one that captured me so I voted for that one. Have never seen one in flower shop but if I ever see one, I'll definitely give it a go.
I vote for the tolumnia tsiku charlotte. The color gives the feeling of a celebration. Those flowers are just so rich and ruffley and happy.
Has to be the Vanda bangkok sunset! Such a vibrant combination of yellow and white!
Wow breath tacking flowers 😍
Enjoyed watching . They are all very beautiful . The red cattleya ( rose scented ) is my favorite. I watched two full lenght adds for you so i hope you get some $$$ 🤗

I vote for King Mink. Love the color and the fragrance.
Happy and Prosperous New Year to you.
I'm voting for the Trichocentrum!! It's so unique, can't say I've seen an Oncidium like it before.
Also, I didn't know your bf made your logo! That's sweet 💘
Can't wait to see how much you & Repotme raised for your campaign! Happy new year 🎉
I vote for the Dendrobium Polar Fire.. the story behind it is lovely (love, loss and the rekindle) 💝
Throughout this video I was pretty sure my vote would go to the cattleychea Siam Jade, but then my favourite showed up; the dendrobium Polar Fire
I wonder if a mist pump, such as are used in vivariums, could be installed fo your Nellie Isler type orchids. On a timer, you can set the mist to work in the hottest times. Use R.O. water & I think you will find it very cooling if the mist falls from above the plants

Voted for Qing Ming Beauty since I love Rose's also.

I'm convinced Dani was having too much fun writing the care card for the Blue Happiness
Haha first person to notice it 🤣🧡
I got captured by cat. Qing Ming beauty . Can’t wait to find it in a nursery ! Beautiful
Hello Danny,

Hey Danny!
If i want air channels to stay open in the medium, can i put earthworms in?
I have a miltoniopsis in a hot climate so the medium isn’t as airy as usual
Love the NoID pink and white dendrobium! I wish I could keep dendrobiums, but I don’t think they’d like my environment.
I have lost 2 of my 3 orchids in 2 weeks. One I had for 3 years 😭 not sure what happened.
I need to find myself a bangkok sunset one of these days 😭

Bangkok sunset any month!
I vote for the bankok sunset! I've been looking for one for a long time, I could only find it on eBay but they don't send it to Europe... Really disappointed. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get one here? Loved the video!
Cattleya Siam Jade is the sort of weird I crave.
Love the Peacock but the Jade is sooooo unusual, never seen one like that it has to be the winner though it's a shame the blooms don't last for you
I vote for the trichocentrum
How do you achieve, and/or, what do you use for the black background for your videos. I once used a black tablecloth as background to photograph one of my orchids for posting (a dendrobium yaya mini). The results were OK, as the black TC was really BLACK!!!
Hi, yeah it's a black satin like material and a small black bench from ikea, plus 2 studio lights 😉
@@MissOrchidGirl Oh yes!! Lights!! *sigh* (i did mine outdoors, so I got good natural light. No greys.)
No ID burgundy with pink lip gets my vote.
My vote goes to Cataleya King Mink 😍. I hope I didn’t missed spelled the name.
