      Aldi is no brother company of Lidl. I work at Lidl in Germany and yes, we have to scan a certain amount of articles per minute (35-40 articles). This is not sad, that's just the way how discounters work in Germany. You have to work really fast (not only at the cash register) so the company doesn't need to hire too many people. But she's doing it way too fast, my boss would call that unfriendly to customers.
      Aldi and Lidl are two different companies, but still they have two things in common: They are both discounters and of German origin.

    This store is called Lidl. Kind of like Aldi. I work at one in the U.S. Just like Aldi, our “products per minute” are timed and they want us really fast. Our job relies on it cause if you go below a number you get written up. Now don’t get me wrong, this cashier was going obnoxiously fast and she could’ve taken it slower out of respect of the customer. But even with taking it slower, it’s still really fast for the customer. Sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️

    It's how your produce gets all banged up and your chips become crumbs

    • @Nevada-kg7pl
      @Nevada-kg7pl 3 роки тому

      No it’s not. These companies teach us how to properly separate and build a cart specifically for that reason. Eggs, chips, and bread go up top. Produce goes in its own location in the cart. Here’s an idea for you: put your heavy duty items first and fragile last on the belt because it’ll be put in the cart last, duh.

    Aldi.. The products they sell have mostly on Every Side A barcode . This because time is money . A higher end supermarket have only one barcode on Each product, service, presentation is more important than price by A higher end store.

      We have to put in a quater in the cart slot to get the cart and then bring our own bags because they dont use plastic bags and then once your done using there cart you put it back in the place where they load the carts and you get your quater back

      It's Lidl. You're not supposed to pack your bags at the checkouts. You're supposed to put them straight into the trolley and pack them at your own pack at the packing bench.
      It's just a common courtesy to the other customers behind you.
      People who insist on packing bags at the checkouts are inefficient, selfish time wasters.

    The best faster they scan, the slower i pay! Then what 's the point of quick scanning.

    • @julianoxborough4501
      @julianoxborough4501 2 роки тому

      Would not make any difference how slow you would pay as it's to he scanning that gets counted not the paying plus you just wasting your time of day if you take that long.
