"The Golden Age of Comedy" turned me into a vintage comedy fan at age five and changed my life.
"Hal Roach" is written all over it. That gent made a lot of laughs during his 100 years.
the super PIE FIGHT is another like this...and out in front of the music store is another...absolutely phenomenal...haven't seen anything like it since.
A masterpiece of escalating reciprocal destruction.
Thanks mate for uploading this movie with that soundtrack and commentary, I was looking for it for ages!
The guy in the dark glasses is Thomas Benton Roberts, the engineer who prepared all the cars. A rare screen appearance.
And a tip of the hat to his fellow auto engineer Dale Schrum. They knew how to "fix" cars!
A movie featuring Stan & Ollie's characters is coming out early in 2019. Can't wait to see it!
And we thought road rage was a 21st century thing!
Laurel and hardy are funny
2 Tars speaks by itself: a special kind of insanity
Ha ha ha ha beautiful
genius comedy!
Super😀👌👍👍👍
I like it its so funny video ❤❤❤❤
Paved roads weren't a common thing back then.
I had this confused with another Laurel and Hardy where they are sailors on shore leave, and treat two women to sodas, and don't have enough money to pay the 30 cent tab.
What is the name of the soundtrack playing in this clip?
Shows that used cars were cheap enough then that a bunch of them could be destroyed for laughs in a movie.
See they were the best. I never got into any other comedians of the black and white picture age except Laurel and HArdy. BUT THEY COULD HAVE GOTTEN LAID BY THEM FAST WOMEN if they just pulled over. PEOPLES EYES BE DAMNED! ROFLOLMFAO O>o
