Personally I would highly recommend this game but the pc version as all clans are available for purchase. I have it on console, phone and pc and the pc is the best for this game really enjoy it on my steam deck so much to do and finding the right clan that works for you.
As a player with almost 100h mostly in pvp must admit both worth and not. Great idea and good execution but for me biggest problem is pace of the game, I would love ability when creating the game to increase speed of gathering/spawning so mp games could last much faster if some1 wanted, there is a lot of downtime and it could easly be 1,7-2 rate As a casual strategy it's great, as to DLCs I like thier approach, they are supporting, balancing, improving game since 5 years and without DLC it would not be possible, some updates are free but new clans are not, but they all feel freashed out and unique, great art desing and good graphics, can be to slow at times. And community is still quite active
This game is bad compared to it, if u wanna pay hella money for it go for NG if you wanna play a decent game that I have fallen in love with, manor lords not AS slow paced as NG but more in depth and soon the devs will be coming out with stone as a resource so hopefully castles are on the way
They put the game on sale very regularly, give lots of free updates, and keep fun new clans coming after 6 years... They're not perfect but if they aren't fair I don't know what is, if you have the funds and enjoy RTS games I think it's worth, but if all you look at is the dlc and think man they're trying to sucker they're player base... Then you'd be right most games (like Destiny or dead by daylight) but northgard is a little different, in my humble opinion. Have a great day !

Is good if you have a couple of friends who like rts age of empires games, and would wait for the game till its discount
Woudl really like to see another game similar to this from the devs but set in medieval.
Have you tried the southern kingdoms? they are quite different to play as from the Viking clans.

I like this game I just wish there was more story to it like a dlc or something jsit to give you more story aspects to the game

i really want a fast paced RTS like red alert 2 again. i dont know why nobody is willing to create it.

How long is the story mode? I only play for the story.
It's around the 14-18 Hour mark. Not including the DLC, but apparently the dlc main story is broken 😕
What about the mobile version? What is different than pc ?
