Ichang is not only skilled with using her fingers to eat, she even managed to keep her white T-shirt clean. That is boss level 🤣

But next time don't forget the fried fish eggs.....n try to order their potatoes, I dunno how they do it Indian potato dish is de bomb, sweet, spicy, it goes well with the rice n bitter gourd tooo!!!

Thank God I already had my nasi kandar fix yesterday. Nasi putih + ayam bawang + kuah campur & kuah ayam madu sikit + kobis + bendi (ocra) + peria goreng (deep fried bittergourd slices). Fuh, marvellous!

The price is really reasonable its like RM15 per plate & Jimmy doesn't skip with the protein at all got daging,ayam,sotong damn ♥️
tbh all nasi kandar restaurant in penang are local faves and none is bad, but when school holidays started. Everything and everywhere become tourist place for sure, so wherever u eat it's a local faves and not only for tourist attraction. If not good the bussiness wont survive bcause penang known food heaven nothing can go wrong.
iChang, a tip for you if you are using your hands to eat. To avoid messy hands where the nasi is sticking around your fingers, you can lick your finger. No worries. It is expected that if you lick your finger here nobody will stare at you. Another tip is, to use your thumb to go through all your fingers to take down all the rice that sticks on your fingers.
Personally this is my favorite nasi kandar in penang. I always went there during my study in penang. Their chicken so tender and their curry is superb. I can eat this all day. Morning afternoon night. At 4 am in the morning also can 😂 miss penang so much after see you and jimmy video. Thanks for the wonderful video 👍👍👍
How would you compare with Hameediah the viral one?
@@salmighazali917 personally i like this one more. If you prefer spicy nasi kandar, nasi kandar raffe is the best choice. Hameediah is not so spicy. I like the spicy flavor from this raffe

I cannot believe you guys did all the ordering in Bahasa and being so fluent & flawless & placing yr orders in perfect sync but Jimmy did say "banjir" but very quick to change LOL! I salute you guys! Hv fun ya!!!!?

i would order like jimmy, but i wish i can have ichang's control n simplicity. she just wants to savour one dish at a time to educate her tastebuds, thats why she is a good cook.
I always go eat nasi kandar twice everytime i went to penang. The first one, i eat the same menu as iChang. Second time, i change ayam bawang to ayam goreng. No regrets at all!😂😂

This is my favorite Nasi Kandar in Penang. The fried chicken, telur sotong and chicken curry are really good!!! Always a long line to line up! The shop had a small accidental fire a while ago, luckily they have reopened without any problems.

How i miss this place 🥹 used to eat there from 2004 till we graduated n started working. The workers always give us extra rice when they saw us coming at midnight after our shift over. We’re back to east Malaysia right before pandemic 🥲 really missing their food there and we had a chance to come back there last March and they welcome us like family 🥰
I like how u guys are getting better at malay so u know the name of the food and order like a local people✨️ telur masin is nice but i will go for telur dadar for nasi kandar and yes papadom completes the set🤤 also it would be better if u drink with nescafe tarik👌

You don't find the following items in Nasi Kandar stalls often but when they have it, I personally *love* to include them : telur ikan or telur sotong (fish/squid roe), and perut (tripe/goat tripe). Yummm. And for the drink, lime juice helps with washing down the oiliness; preferably warm but iced is fine also.
I have eaten there since 1994. You are right to go there. It is a place that only the locals would know. Very few or no tourists at all! Another place you should try is Tajuddin Hussein at Queens Street. Both are different. Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy your stay in Penang. Cheers!
nasi kandar bungkus (take away) is more tastier than eating in the restaurant. the flavour will mixed together before eating at home 😋

Jimmy sound like a local malaysian Chinese when ordering the dishes. For your knowledge, mostly Malaysian will discount any cents mostly at any foodstall or restaurant. Sometimes we don't have enough changes for the coins. So mostly, we will round it off to Ringgit only. Because of the trouble. Hahahaha... Thanks for supporting and promoting our local food..

Go and try Hameediyah. The curry is on a different level. Nicer and thicker. But careful with what you take coz this restaurant is a bit expensive

Raffee nasi kandar started to get more famous around 3-4 years ago, back then when I used to eat at raffee 7-8 years ago the crowd wasn't as many as you see nowadays. Used to eat there without lining up long back then.
Yes it's true. Even when they have a table outside it's still okey. Now...aiyakkk... sometimes I have to forget nasi kandar and eat some noodles at food court back there 😅
