Well it appears I did a really good job picking out a selection of high quality and affordable options on your website. I still am waiting to try the noike, the Sakamoto Sae, and Masudaen Kyoto. At the moment I do feel a little bit drowned with so many options but I'm getting a handle on it I feel!
Thankyou for the great information, it might be informative in the future to include whether the leaves have been hand picked or machine picked and also include the type of shading used before tea is picked. Domo arigato.
@@fishlife7073 Sure u want pm? I mainly support the smaller and much older matcha shops but it means u have to let get it imported what means you will wait sometimes a while but it’s worth it..
this is super informative i appreciate the effort and time put into these videos! where do you recommend to buy wholesale matcha from japan with the highest quality for baristas? also does a good matcha be defined by its posses of sweetness? because some matcha i've tried they smell nice and sweet but taste earthy which i like and dont mind it
Hello awesome job great video🙂I need help am a little bit overwhelmed too much information 😱 can you tell me which one would be best? I like my matcha in lattes only and like it to be more on the earthy side than sweet but don’t mind having a little bit sweet also no budget on purchasing matcha. Hopefully you can reply to my comment
@Nioteas Do you know if all of these matchas are tested for heavy metals? I know that can be an issue with matcha from the soil, and I am sensitive to a lot of these heavy metals. Thank you!
This is more of an issue with the Chinese teas that are grown close to the road. It's generally not an issue with Japanese teas because the JAS standards are so high
Shizuoka the region? It is hard to generalize because it is so big! There are plenty of great teas being produced here but also a lot of the more mass produced teas come from Shizuoka
That's a good question, we may have to order some caffeine tests for that! I think all of the ceremonial matchas would end up in the same ballpark and if you want more caffeine you can just add more matcha!

i dont get it why people pay that much for matcha my 89year old grandpa from japan said its just marketing because if u import direct from a brand (and everyone can do that ) its not like this 30g for 50$ its 50g for best bio-quallity just 19$ so i cant get it why all people on youtbe say buy the expansive, the expasive is the best blabla i just dont get it i drank it but there is nothing better on it than the normal from japan
Yes it is much better prices when you buy direct from the farmer but then you need to buy like 100 packs at a time and ship it halfway across the world so the price ends up getting a lot higher. $1 per gram means that you are only paying a dollar for a really good bowl of matcha so it still makes sense
@@Nioteas thats not quite right because you can buy less than you said and over the years you have defently less cost.. i rather buy direct because you help the locals and the smaller people that is also much better than make the already rich more rich ... #sharelove #riphumanity
