It has been MANY a year since I was in that part of the world -- LOVED the Llanberis pass: you were absolutely right to play the whole thing at normal speed (and damn good soundtrack for it, too... nice!). I even recognised some of the rocks by the side of the road! And THAT'S so weird, because the last time I was there was the during the 10th Snowdon Marathon (in the 80's) and we were in the back of an old army truck. F***ing LOVE your 'Drover. May the Force be with you, bro. and all that.
Thanks! Had a recent comment complaining about music over some clips in another video - can't win them all. Got some videos of our trip up the west coast of Scotland if I can get my backside into gear and post them!
I don't know what it is for all of them (you can look that one up obviously) but the max weight on the plate is 3.65 tonnes. I had it on the weigh bridge a while back as is with almost everything in to go away and it was 3.1 tonnes. I figure it will be just under for a 2 week trip away with water already on board (43 L an loo water and 15 L drinking water). It was fine up and down the hills in Scotland but we are still tracking down a bit of underperformance from the brakes.
If you love the sound of the V8(and rightly so), what's with the crappy music? Giving priority to traffic coming uphill used to be in the Highway Code. I suppose you have to be considerate to do such things. Lack of consideration seems to be the norm these days. Goes along with HID headlight conversions and F*ck the oncoming traffic who are blinded...
Beautiful v8 sound beautiful view too. Wow 👍
Great video 👍👍
Great video, great 101, you are so right cant beat the sound of an 8 working for a living😀
Quite. My trip to the quarry had to be postponed but its still on the cards.
