Excellent observation 🤔
you think cops are smart enough to Act? Ever seen Police-made community videos? Personally, I think cops as a whole are stupider then they are clever or creative.
There is a cop car there. Is this maybe a training video on what not to do?
I'd say it's legit. I've run into so many of these idiots in real life that it would make no sense to make this other than as a police officer training film for recruits.
I dont know, it seems like typical Georgia 2 me.

As someone who has lived in a small southern town nearly all my life I can almost assure you that it's true. The cops down here act like this every minute of every day.
Texas too. When I was growing up, almost every cop looked like a parody of a bad Smokey and the Bandit ripoff. These pricks walked around with the attitude of Buford T Justice, and the brains of Roscoe P Coltrane. People can say whatever they want about NYPD and LAPD leading the way in corrupting, but size is the only discrepancy. Everything after is him infringing on rights.
if you have committed no crime, everything before it is also an infringement.
@@leftyo9589
*"if you have committed no crime, everything before it is also an infringement."*
Uh...no. If the pig has legitimate RAS, even if no crime has been committed, no crime is being committed, or no crime is about to be committed, the detainment is absolutely NOT an infringement. In this specific instance, the pig was actually able to articulate his suspicion of a crime about to be committed (burglary), so he was authorized to detain the victim. But as soon as the pig admitted that he believed the victim was authorized to be there, continuing the detainment and continuing to demand ID was absolutely an infringement.
@@frocat5163 so you're saying that anyone walking near a business, that isn't open at the time, is suspected to be a burglar? The cop never said he thought the guy was going to burglarize the business, he only said the guy was "prowling" ....... whatever that means.
A good cop that actually believed the guy was about to rob the place would have waited and watched him to see what he was actually doing. The cop didn't believe he was robbing the place or about to rob the place just because he saw him walking near the business.
@@jelly7310
*"so you're saying that anyone walking near a business, that isn't open at the time, is suspected to be a burglar?"*
I said nothing of the sort. See, what you've done here is called a strawman. It's a logical fallacy created when someone lacks the intelligence to counter another's point, so you create an argument, attribute it to the other person, then proceed to defeat the argument you created. Well done, you've shown you're not very intelligent.
*"The cop never said he thought the guy was going to burglarize the business, he only said the guy was "prowling" ....... whatever that means."*
Contrary to what many ignoramuses (such as yourself) believe, pigs aren't actually required to disclose their RAS to the people they encounter; they simply have to _HAVE_ RAS. Anyone who speaks American English as a first language absolutely knows what the word 'prowling' means in this context, and the cop was absolutely indicating that the crime he suspected may soon be committed was burglary. Because it's not "normal" behavior for someone to be walking around the back of a strip mall or other group of stores at the time of night this encounter occurred, since most businesses in the area are closed at that time of night. There was obviously no other pedestrian traffic in that area, or even other pedestrians at all. Was the suspicion of burglary pretty weak? Probably. Does that mean it was unreasonable? Not at all. But as soon as the pig said he believed the victim, he was admitting that whatever RAS he may have had to initiate the contact with the victim was wrong, and no further contact with the person was necessary, and there were absolutely no grounds to detain the victim.
*"A good cop that actually believed the guy was about to rob the place would have waited and watched him to see what he was actually doing."*
Well, there aren't any good pigs, so this statement is even more BS than the rest of your sad response.
*"The cop didn't believe he was robbing the place or about to rob the place just because he saw him walking near the business."*
Oh. So you can read the minds of people in videos? How the hell do you know what the pig thought or believed? (You don't.) And even if the pig _didn't_ legitimately believe the victim in this video was planning a burglary, it is certainly reasonable to think someone wandering around late at night, in the dark, behind a group of closed stores could be casing the stores for an attempted burglary. And if a pig told that to a judge, the judge would almost certainly agree, as would most reasonable people. This encounter didn't happen in broad daylight when the stores were all open and there were multiple other people walking in the same area. Suspecting someone of planning a burglary _in these specific circumstances_ is pretty reasonable. At least reasonable enough for a pig to stop the person and ask what they're doing. If you think that's unreasonable, I'm not really sure what to tell you, other than you need to let someone else do your thinking; it's clearly not something you're good at.
Finally, if you paid any attention at all to what I posted, you may have noticed the primary point of my initial response here was to the genius who stated: *"if you have committed no crime, everything before it is also an infringement"* clearly implying that any sort of detainment when the detainee has committed no crime is an infringement of the detainee's rights. And that's complete BS. If a pig has RAS, they detain someone for that RAS and their suspicion is addressed / mollified, that in no way makes the initial detention an infringement. The infringement only happens if the pig admits they have no RAS, or that their RAS has been addressed, and they continue to detain the person anyway. It really shouldn't be a difficult concept, but somehow geniuses like you never seem to understand.
They detained him to argue with him, then arrested him to shut him up, because they lost the argument.

@@mikealvord55 actually there’s a good argument for libel when they post the details of a false arrest in the paper, in the digital edition, the papers social media accounts, and to the official police social media outlets. These posts have a massive impact on the public perception of an individual and can damage one’s reputation leading to a loss of revenue and other damages. The entire practice is unethical and problematic. But if your falsely arrested and they post about it this could meet all aspects of lib so besides “knowing it false” which doesn’t necessarily matter either of you can price they acted negligently. After about five years he got promoted to answering the phone and he learned the 10- code all by himself from a C.B. radio advertisement. He got pretty pretty good spouting off those codes on the phone, "10- 4 boss."

Umm no, buddy that’s not how it works. Why are these cops so scared of a man walking around. Their hurt little ego
A Police Officer's job is to get as many people to identify as possible.
...The reason is that they will find people with warrants.
...The people with warrants will then get arrested, which gives Cops the right to search.
...Then the Police will find enough people with drugs during the searches.
...Add other examples such as Civil forfeiture.
That's when Police just "declare" your money illegal, and are then lawfully permitted to take it from you (and then you need a lawyer to attempt to get your money back).
...All of this is to extort people's money into the Cop's State.
... With All Police doing this, it literally leads to multi millions of dollars a year for the Cop's State Government.
...This is literally the Cop's personal incentives and promotions.
...Not sure if there is any describing a Pig.

But they also know that they can literally be criminals, and nothing will happen to them.
...They are criminals, and nothing happens to them
... Until they get lit up from time to time..
@@richwightman3044depends on the area. Some cops get paid very well

Cops need to learn what "N/A" means and how to write it into the boxes.
They hate it when you take your Rights seriously…..
