Relax dude, first time I've seen your channel and you get a little to excited over....what? Nothing. Your having fun but don't over do it. Gotta go can only take so much. Good luck with your fishing. Nice magnet by the way.
One of these days a magnet fisher is going to pull up a big chain with a large rubber stopper on the end and sit there in stunned silence as the lake drains away... lol
Here's another one hadn't seen. May of 2023 now, just watched you clean your boat for first time since you got it. (Two months). Always interesting, stay safe and keep bringing in the awesome finds! 👍👍
Number 4 is called a "peavey". It is absolutely a log handling tool! Cool find! Number 14 looks like the barrel from a .30 carbine, you can tell by the hooded front sight and the extractor groove cutout in the chamber end. The second number 14 is a change box from a public payphone
As far as #4 goes....I have never heard it called a Peavey. I had always heard it called a Cant Hook. I looked both up and as it turns out it they are both the same tool just different names.
My thoughts exactly! Seems funny the kids now days have no concept of pay phones. Strange, I don’t feel that old for this to be such a familiar memory……
#6 looks like it could be the wheel of one of those old bikes with one small and one huge wheel called "Penny-farthing" from the 1880s (since it seems to flimsy and too big a for a wagon wheel (tho of course I don't know and it would have corroded from something more solid looking.))
#4 is whats known as a log peavy. They used it for rolling logs in the water or even when they were being cut. that is just the head it was missing the handle but it would have been 6' long.
It’s funny to me that you don’t know what the box in #14 or 15 is. Im sure you have never seen one. I’m pretty sure it is from a pay phone that used to be around towns. The locked part is where the money goes for your call.
Yes, I figgered as much, also --- Tyler looks to be only in his late twenties or early thirties, and so he's probably never used a pay phone and therefore doesn't know what they look like. :D
@@TheFisher im 26 and have used one about like mabey 3 times as an emergency ride summoner (calling family to get me) i didnt have a cell phone growing up
Were you allowed to get the older gun back or did they destroy it? I doubt I would turn in something that old unless there was a readable serial number on it.
Just curious...the gun #8, looked like it took co2 cart, and firearms normally don't have "this is not a toy" markings. Was that a real firearm and did you hear anything boyt that. Great videos.
I am so passionate about cleaning up our environment and your videos are delightful to me. I love how you see everything you find as a treasure. I also feel like what you do has a deeper meaning there is so much below the surface to be uncovered or discovered
I just came up with a hilarious idea during #16: If you've ever watched the old Tim Conway movie "Dorf Goes Fishing," you may remember the segment where he attempts to have a "buddy fishing conversation" with his wife. He makes gurgling noises (obviously an overlaid soundtrack). That would be _perfect_ for when you need to blank out locations instead of just silence! "I am at •burble glubble glub• in •bubble• city." 🤣🤣
Just started watching your videos. Admittedly I was a bit skeptical as to the contents of your videos. Like oh look more rusty junk. I couldn’t have been more wrong! I have to say, your great attitude and genuine excitement over each and every one of your finds puts a smile on my face. You got a subscriber for sure! Thanks for the great content.
You have me KMSL love the excitement you are totally contagious making me want to buy a big magnet 🧲 I live on the Bayou Teche and I can imagine what I’d find in it. Thanks for sharing your videos 👍🇺🇸
It was a great year watching you pull all those cool things out of the water. Was there money in the car wash vending machine? Look forward to watching your channel next year. Keep up the good work.
I really love the enthusiasm in these videos. Everything is exciting. Honestly, I watch these and think of millions of craft ideas. Don't think I could have turned in the brass knuckles. I like unusual knives.
That cash box came from an ATM, you need to call the cops. You should also call the cops about the change machine, its an open case. #14 is the change box from a pay-phone.
That's crazy you found brass knuckles and that one has a knife that pops out at the end. I bet you somebody killed somebody with that nuts why they threw it in the lake
I remember all of those magnet fishing expeditions. I'm hoping that you took those logging tools (#1 and #4) to a museum to see their worth and/or if they wanted to buy them. At the very least you tried to sell them on eBay because they should have been worth more than their scrap value. That double headed axe you found later on the #1 was also cool, I loved that episode it was so interesting to watch and had such history significance to them. #16 was also a good one, an actual gun and not pellet guns nor a rifle barrel. I still say you should have gotten that one back, but 'say la vei.' Anyway, nice reminder of your interesting finds and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas holiday season.
@@famousbowl9926 52 yrs old. The reason I said, "took those logging tools (#1 and #4) to a museum to see their worth and/or if they wanted to buy them." is because magnet fishing is a business and it would be nice if he could make some money from selling to a museum rather than selling them as scrap metal. I'm sure he could, and probably would, donate those items rather than have them destroyed, but if he could get a dollar or three for each one that would be nice too.

Hello Tyler, you had some great finds throughout this year. Wishing you and all your family merry Christmas. Stay safe. Love from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Dude, we forgot about that walkway bridge where you found the gun magazine and brass knuckles! Side note, maybe next spring/summer when you use the kayak maybe tie off the boat to shore in case you got something heavy and you need to pull yourself to shore.
I just got a magnet for myself and I went to a lake for about 2 hours and got 2 nails, 4 fishing hooks, a washer nut, and rebar. Nothing pretty much but it was fun tbh
Dude, if you are looking to go next level in the guns department you should concentrate you search area into run down neighborhoods and rivers on the outskirts to about 2 miles away from cities or larger towns. Road access or short walk distance from the road is crucial. Happy hunting 😁😁
#14 is from the Stone Age, it is the coin box and change return from some archaic thing they used to call a “pay phone”. From back in the olden days when everyone didn’t carry a cell phone to stare at all day long. If you needed to call someone you actually had to find a pay phone and put money in it in order to make a call.
I absolutely love 💞 your videos, and you've had some interesting finds over the last year. Your videos are the best, bar none! Take care, stay safe and God bless ✝️ Happy Magnet Fishing 🎣
That absolutely looks like a pellet gun. The empty space in the hand grip and the wing nut looking thing at the bottom; I'm pretty sure that's for securing in the CO2 cartridge.
That first gun that was a co2 pistol that shoots BBS and pellets and if I had the guess what that big wheel you found was I would say it was probably off of one of those bicycles that has like a 24 to 34-in tire in the front and a 4-in tire in the back
yeah i'm thinking the same thing, you can pretty much see the screw at the bottom where the co2 canister goes, and no "firearm" has that kind of warning edged into it, stupid cop should of just let him keep it
Great video! That's a lot of weird stuff down below lol. Also, in case you don't know yet, #8 was a CO2 pellet or BB gun. You can see at the bottom of the grip the screwed on cover for the CO2 cartridge, plus it had the standard air gun warn on the side (this is not a toy....). #16 was a sawed off shotgun, but it looked like it was probably just a replica or decoration. Well, happy fishing! I hope you find something worth a lol of money!
2:38 Yikes --- that's no "brass knuckle", Dude --- that's called an "assailant knife" or a "tactical knuckle knife", and it's considered a DEADLY WEAPON in many areas, and may even be illegal to purchase or possess!! So even though you'd merely found it after it had been discarded, and had certainly never committed any crimes with it, you could still get in BIG trouble if a cop found THAT dangerous object on your person or in your vehicle if he stopped you for any reason, or if he found it in your house while performing a home inspection! You might wanna turn in that knife to the police; it had very likely been used to assault or kill someone (and I mean, just think about it --- why else would anyone have a wicked-looking stabbing-device like that, anyway --- they weren't likely just slicing their bread for sandwiches with THAT beastly thing!), and then was tossed into the river to get rid of the evidence! :O :S
Hey Tyler, thanks for all the wholesome and cool videos, you've inspired me to pick up Magnet Fishing, so I'll be getting a kit, so this coming spring I can start up finding treasures, and such!
I agree, your enthusiasm is contagious and as the dad of two young teenage boys I appreciate the good clean fun. I haven't seen all of your videos, but so far, I love how you say "Oh my gosh," instead of saying, "Oh my God." Language like that matters, and so many kids, and adults as well don't know that you should not say that. They were likely never taught. Your folks obviously raised you right.
First gun was a bb several indicators, second was outer casing to a toy (cap gun or the like) barrel was interesting small caliber. Last gun was rather crazy.
P.s. #8 Hey, Tyler! I did some research on what you found there in that clip. It’s a: Bear River “Exterminator” 4 inch Chrome Finish .177 BB/Pellet Air Pistol And until I put the name in, I thought it was the “real deal” too, and I think I commented such on the original video thinking it was a cartridge pistol as well. Forgot to recant that until now or post the research. However: in no way does being an air pistol mean it couldn’t have been used in a crime and dumped afterwards. They can still be used lethally.
It looks like you had some interesting finds over the course of this past year. Did you call the police about that car wash controller piece. You should have. That might be a case that robbery detectives are still working. What about that gun too, did you ever learn anything more about that?
This the video about clips he accidentally find a random great stuff, and maybe this is just a random videos that pop out at your youtube algorithm, this guy always call the the police when he found something "dangerious" like a gun, bag, and another item. What a great year! Happy to have found you and your channel. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for you Tyler and for all of the subscribers as well ❤
20:35 Notice a small tree behind you , could of tie the rope around it with tension so it will still have the box out of the water. Then grab the rope close by the claw part pull it out of the water. If had another rope , attach magnet and use magnet to pull up while claw still have it out of the water. . Another option could put rope around tree and use it like a pully setup to pull the rope from the tree which make it easier to pull up the box out of the water.
I remember so many of those! Great memories Tyler. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this new year ~ ✨”very Merry wishes to a wonderful Christmas”🎄✨ & a “Happy New Year” 🎈
Love this compilation, found out I missed a few videos. Made me smile with your excitement. Will have a giant road trip to visit my favorite you-tubers if ever get to go.
The fact that not even the police officer could tell right away that the revolver was OBVIOUSLY a BB gun or Airsoft gun, honestly concerns me. Right there on the handle is where the co2 Carthage goes….😑😑🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

#14 That box looks like the bottom half of a pay phone..... remember those? LOL

My thoughts exactly! Seems funny the kids now days have no concept of pay phones. Strange, I don’t feel that old for this to be such a familiar memory……
I thought it could have been a parking meter, but yeah, pay phone.

At some point, he is going to find Jimmy Hoffa.
That freight container with him in it I bet is in a lot bigger body of water and a lot deeper to boot!
One must chuck tools after a heist. Files fit, bolt cutters fit, even a bent up hammer.
Were you allowed to get the older gun back or did they destroy it? I doubt I would turn in something that old unless there was a readable serial number on it.
The old gun was a Crosman SNR357 co2 gun. The rifle barrel was from a ruger 10-22 .

Thats what I was thinking. If it was real it looked pretty stupid haha.
Yeah it was a BB gun. You can see the thumb screw on the bottom of the handle to tighten in the co2 cartridge.
That's what I'm saying
Bear River CO2 revolver
That wheel could be from one of those penny bikes 🚲 with the big wheels

When I first watched the video about the rifle barrel could not recognize it but this time I did it is a Ruger 10/22 barrel

Always nice taking a look back when the weather is too cold for actual magnet fishing.
This was great
Love seeing back on your finds definitely some crazy ones there
32:27. Looks like from an old pay phone

Great memories Tyler.

Yes I have used one of them when I would help my dad at the sawmill
Love this compilation, found out I missed a few videos. Made me smile with your excitement. Will have a giant road trip to visit my favorite you-tubers if ever get to go.
I so enjoy watching how excited you get. 😆 Merry Christmas and Happy new year

Thank you Fisher and your welcome.
The fact that not even the police officer could tell right away that the revolver was OBVIOUSLY a BB gun or Airsoft gun, honestly concerns me. Right there on the handle is where the co2 Carthage goes….😑😑🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Number six is a wheel from a 1896 bigwheel bike.
