You've made two mistakes guys. In 2WD mode the front drive shaft and front axles don't rotate, because only when you push the 4WD button will lock not only the front hubs but also the front drive shaft. In 4WD mode the car stops only if one wheel on each axles are in the air because the front drive shaft is locked to the rear (the transfer case works in 4WD as a locked diff)
Cool vid! Correction on the 2wd setting, the front prop shaft does not spin when the vehicle is in 2wd mode. This saves it from unnecessary wear and energy losses when driving on road.
I have a 2015 Jimny, I can confirm, I got under the vehicle and was able to turn the front axel freely when in 2WD, this is because not only do the front hubs disengage, the transfer case disengages the front axel.
I live on acreage in the Aussie bush, and considering getting one of these as a second 4x4 and back up vehicle. As I have creek crossing to consider [sometimes dry creek bed and often not], I'm thinking about a 50mm lift and a snorkel, and maybe a swing away wheel carrier.......... and that's it, job done. I can well imagine the good lady preferring to jump in the Jimny over our larger 4x4, and heading off to town for shopping and meeting up with her friends. Ease of parking would be a big plus for her. I think they're a damn good car, especially if it doesn't involve long distances on a freeway.

Disappointingly pointless vid - it's a shame that every so-called professional reviewer nowadays gets a platform for spreading very dangerous and completely senseless half-truths about a legendary and unique vehicle after a few days driving it. City car with a ladder frame and beam axles? Yeah, right. Sure.. "facepalm"
I own a 2015 Jimny, it's the best city car I've ever driven, amazing vision, can see above most other cars, turning circle you could kill for, smooth and intelligent 4spd auto and a rev-happy engine that burns almost no fuel makes it a great town car. But that's only half the story, I have overland and offroad adventures planned for my little box of perfect that I absolutely cannot wait for. Suzuki really knows how to make a truck.
