I suspect he uses the same course for all his reviews so as to get a good base line, I to own a jimny and my point about corollas was doing it day in day out will wreak them unlike a 4x4
@@Qthefun Quite right. The point of the exercise is to use a standardised course to compare vehicles on equal terrain. If we had to use a different course to perfectly showcase each and every car's unique capabilities, there wouldn't be enough tracks in South Africa. That is also why there is a rating attached to every challenge. For example, on the incline we demonstrate both traction and break-over angles. A car like the Jimny would score highly because it has a very short wheelbase, whereas something like Land Rover Defender 130 might not do as well because it's longer. The same goes for ground clearance and wheel articulation on the logs section. So while you might be able to take a Corolla through the obstacle course (although it's unlikely to come out the other side in one piece), there is some method in our madness.
