  • A selection of moments from the 7.5 hour tutorial course which is available in my new sample pack "Components" ➞ insp.ec/Components (click "show more" for sample pack description)
This video shows the provides an overview of the 4 part arrangement tutorial in which I show how I construct a track from the first individual sounds through to mixing and mastering. The full videos for the sample pack show the process in real time without missing anything.

    Vorso - Components
I've spent the last few years very busy making a lot of music and learning new techniques. I've generated a huge archive of cool sounds and wanted to find a way to share them. Every sound in here comes from a session where I thought "I could make a full track from this" - but I'm only one person and there's only so much time for me to make music. Hopefully there will be a home for each of them in your own music now too!
To accompany the sample pack I created a 7.5 hour video course showcasing new techniques I'm excited about, a full track from scratch arrangement (using only samples from the pack) and the sound design and resampling techniques I return to most often.
I have also included the demo tracks Ableton project file containing each of the tunes you hear in this preview. I would love to hear what you make of them :)

I recently discovered this guy on D&B Arena super randomly. I was listening as background music but suddenly when the "Shroud" song drop started I was like omfg, this is actually unique and catchy. I knew this guy is something else by that moment. I'm glad I found this. Definitely will try to eco some cash to buy this pack. Thanks for the content btw!

This is a masterclass on how to produce. Excited to try this sample pack and get even 10% as creative as you with your processing and FX, fantastic stuff

Greetings, Vorso, I’m impressed by your work from the point of view of a listener and producer. How can I find out more about your mastering of the album holonomy, it sounds amazing, how?.....

Love your music and am very glad that we can get a glimpse into your production process through this video. As a producer I still have many questions but I feel like it would be hard to fully explain the magic you create in your tracks. Even this was really helpful for understanding certain aspects of your work. My understanding has gone from 'literal witchcraft' to 'ah shit he's got a really good ear and good samples', which has motivated me to continue making tracks as I know your level is within reach now (I still have a long way to go). Thanks again for making such amazing, intuitive yet technically astounding tunes and letting us view your process!
Was this a one off or will you be doing more tutorials?

Also just curious where you get your drum samples specifically? Your percussion work is next level, and your tunes are always my goal when comparing drums in my own works. It doesnt seem like they need a lot of processing to sound fantastic, I'd be really interested in seeing a drum oriented video if you're making more tutorials.

@@theguy181099 Thank you very much, means a lot hearing that!! I tend to synthesize a lot of drum sounds and blend with layers from Addictive Drums and the Kontakt drum libraries. But the main thing is i keep EVERYTHING from my previous projects in a big library, so many of my drums (and sounds from the sample pack) have been processed, resampled, reprocessed for years and years now - that way you start to build up a huge pool of sounds to pull from

The kinds of things i do in this vid is the sort of process most of my drums go through, lots of multiband splitting + processing + resampling until i've got something nice to start building up a groove from. Later on down the line in the project if I don't love how the drums sound I'll often record the whole lot out as audio and use it as the starting point for new ones

@@VorsoMusic thats awesome, I was curious because I’m slowly teaching my self and just work off what I hear rather than any theory etc. but it gives me hope knowing such an awesome producer did just fine without any studies. Hope one day I can make tunes on your levels. Literally OP! :D

Even if you're a seasoned producer you always get something new by watching someone else. Love it! You're definitely a producer's producer dude.
