The ideas in this video were worth saving and the basket turned out beautifully! However, I think the entire basket needs to be made from good quality materials and that no tape should ever be exposed.
Nah...You want all materials used in building your gift basket to be clean and quality. When people take the basket apart - they will see all the tape on the sides, the broken pieces inside and the cheap cardboard box. This will speak VOLUMES about YOU and HOW YOU GIVE GIFTS. You can still go cheap. Just get a cheap container, use tissue paper or shred, and gift bags. Please do not be sloppy when giving gifts. This idea is great for DECORATIONS... because no one is going to see the sides of the box where the tape is or the broken pieces in the box nor the cheap cardboard box. Use this as a decorating idea...or be a little less sloppy. Avoid exposed tape, broken styrofoam, and cheap cardboard boxes. Use a container instead.
