Looks great
sarah knight thank you
Really nice job! Neat project
Queen Elizabeth II Hey thank you!
show, muito bom
Nice work! If doing again would you mill shallow letter pockets in the base using the CNC so positioning is more captive?
Absolutely, alignment was the biggest struggle I had. A 1/8 or less pocket would have been a really good idea for the letters.
Did you use sealer / shellac before painting it white?
No I did not I just sprayed the mdf with a few coats of white spray paint. It’s held up great, looks like the day I made it.
How did you manage to prime the edges of the mdf letters? I did 6 coats of primer and it just soaks it up. Thanks
Hey, I didn’t prime the letters. I just sprayed 3 coats of paint on them the way I showed in the video and they were ready.
@@ToolsThatBuild Awesome.! Thank you! And is it just regular spray paint or a special type of paint?
@@osvaldoestrada8534 no problem, just regular white spray paint from the hardware store.
Where did you get the circle board?
I made it, it’s in the video it’s the second circle being cut.
Is that MDF board?
John McIntosh yes this one is made from MDF
Hi, What did you use to paint the mdf? Very good video friend.
Standard latex paint in a flat sheen from any hardware store and thank you
What machine
Shapeoko 3
World's fastest CNC machine. Haha
If only it could do that in real time! The tear out would be off the charts
