It is sooooo refreshing to watch a reaction of this song and have someone actually pick up on the meaning of the song. I specifically mean the hook and some of metaphors and such. Personally, a lot of reactors don’t pick up on that he is spelling his name in the hook and/or pick up on the double entendres in the hook and throughout the song. Most people take the lyrics at face value instead of actually thinking about them. I am still honestly amazed how AGUST D (and BTS for that matter) are able to make the word play make sense in 2 languages.
You will love Daechwita by AGUST D!! Great reaction AGUST D (aka Suga from BTS) is an amazing and genius musician. In my opinion, his 2 mixtapes are, to put it simply, works of art. I would love to see more BTS and AGUST D reactions! 💜

All the BTS members have the absolute right to say everything that they do in their songs. Everyone was trying to bring them down, looking down on them, and mistreating them since day one they debuted, and even almost made them disband. But they kept going, and they are the number one today on the damn planet and still breaking records with everything they do.
Actually if I'm not mistaken, the BTS rappers never debuted as soloist because that would entail heavy promotion (so not like Lisa as hers was promoted). That's why it's mixtapes and not albums, none of August D's mixtapes or any BTS rappers mixtapes are promoted. They just release music when they want on their own accord and are all free.

For BTS, all the members write their lyrics and send them in, the producers or Bang PD pick the ones that go best with the songs. BTS members also involve in the production. I think YG don’t give BP the freedom in music decision. You don’t have to write your songs to be a good singer but it’s more relatable if you do. YG seems to make BP look like models instead artists. At least, that’s how I feel without knowing too much about them.

Seen a few mention the name of the solo mixtapes Suga has done. This song being from his first self titled Agust-D album. The one thing I didn't see mentioned about this album is he put it out for free. People did not have to buy it unless they wanted the physical copy. Anyone could go to the BTS site and download the album. I actually got it that way. I do not know if it still free to download but it was for quite some time. Suga/Agust-D is my favorite Korean male rapper. His flows and vocal control is so wide and well executed. Anyways, I'll be checking out the new release from you once it drops. Love your music Crypt!

Oh no, Blackpink should never be compared to BTS. It's like comparing Eminem to Cardi B (not saying that anyone is better than anyone else) but just proving a point of how ridiculous it is. RM is the second most credited songwriter and composer in SK and also the youngest, and Suga is one of BTS' main producers. They all write, compose and produce and their lyrics have depth and actually mean something. Look into their lyrics properly though because translators on yt do them dirty! Thanks man.

So yeah to explain the name Agust D and some other thingsabou him and BTS and the song.
1.So his actual name is Min Yoongi and his stage name in BTS is SUGA and tham here is AGUST D so AGUS is backwards SUGA and T D stand for Town Daegu the City he comes from.
2. He was an underground rapper before he debuted in BTS and in BTS he is in the rap line with J HOPE and RM. So he had experience before becoming an idol which he actually even mentioned in the lyrics "you should be thankful for me being an idol"( it isn't the exact translation) as if he still was underground they would be under him. It is better explained in a video that introduces BTS so you could react to it if you want to know some inside Information about him and the others.
3. The Song that he mentioned in the first verse was basically one of his first Songs he wrote (I think there is a Video that explains that situation)
4.BTS produces/writes/composes or does something almost in every song they havw there aren't much songs where they don't put their own work into it mainly the rap line.
5. If I am talking about producing,writing and composing the music genius is SUGA basically bcs he started with it in school and was a writer/producer/composer but wasn't really paid + his family didn't support him so it was really hard for him.
6.If I have to say something about BTS it is that they have a real great bond with each othwr and have a great Company as HYBE LABELS which actually everyonethat wants to be an idol needs to go in which may not be the greatest but they got a great Entertainment that treated them well Big Hit. Agust D (DT Suga, Suga from Daegu Town) is his solo project name. The song he referenced is his " 싸이하누월/Ssaihanuwar" is from a very early mixtape.
Its title comes from Ssaihanuwar by An Sook-Sun (안 숙선) a very traditional style of song from a very traditionally sounding woman.
Agust D feels his early work is cringe compared to what he does now, so it's important that Yoongi used his Agust D persona to move away from his old Suga self in a way, as 싸이하누월 came out in 2013 as Suga (when Suga was just 20). It's not as complex, compelling, or anywhere near as good as his newer solo stuff.

to me, best rap in bts songs (outside of their solo work) is UGH and Tear, but there are no mv's, so lyric videos are a must. Agust D's (Suga's) 'Dwaechita' is also really really good. Ddaeng is good, and there are so many metaphors that it's understandable only with explain video (I would DKDKTV), but it's also really really good and fun!
