The beauty of front static toe out is that you immediately get the angle through initial inputs, thus more response, hugh benefit whether griping or drifting. However,if there were too much static toe out, while drifting, that would leads to understeer during extreme steering angle scenario, and thats caused by extreme dynamic toe out, some driver might think the car performs more "stable" for cornering. When it comes to the rear camber, the trick is to get the even contact patch of outside rear to have max grip while cornering in steady-state,that means you might have to check how much roll you have while cornering to fine tune the camber. The easiest way to understand rear toe in,is that the car tends to go straight in cornering, might think it as short wheelbase affect. Anyway nice video! The SuspensionSecrets is true expert when it comes to suspension.
Thank you for you comment chappy. Yes I trust in Matt and Suspension Secrets implicitly - they know their stuff and have never let me (or anyone I know) down.
Great video. I had my M3 CP corner balanced and set up which made a big difference. In an M5 now as assumed without coilovers the improvement would be negligible (no corner balancing) - maybe I should rethink!
Cheers for that chappy 👊👌☝️✊👍 Yeah I would speak with the guys in the know but I was genuinely blown away by the difference so maybe worth a conversation 😎
I have a 21 M2C on Eibach lowering springs. I find it bumpy on B roads and back end feels a little lively. Thinking adjustable coilovers and a geo.. These cars have been on the road for awhile now. Is there a consensus on “ best set up” for fast road use & the odd track day. Thanks Great channel
Did you notice any difference in front tyre wear, before and after the alignment? My fronts wore much quicker on the insides, and were with alignment within BMW parameters.
Interesting and similar conclusions to a fellow Cayman blogger when he had his geometry re-worked It really is about setting the car up to suit you and the challenge therefore becomes knowing what you are after. I’ll have a look at the website and thanks for filming, editing and sharing. Cheers Kevin.
Kevin chap thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment - Matt comes highly recommended and will very easily help you achieve what it is you are looking for.
i know im asking randomly but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Alijah Kairo thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I would contact Matt and Suspension Secrets direct chap as depending on your needs and what you do and don’t need will vary what can be done based on your car and requirements. This set up was £250 (plus £75 for travel to cover Matt being on the road for over 5 hours that day to get to me) which is extremely reasonable in my book. Obviously if you get to them direct you would not pay any travel costs etc
really good video and been checking out suspension secrets website, loads of info. Thinking of going to him now or seeing if he's booked my way anytime, have a GTI Clubsport on KW V3's. would like to see what could be improved
Cheers for the view and comment Lew. I would highly recommend - the difference they made was by far the most noticeable of ANY performance mod i've ever done! PLEASE let us know how you get on. CMD X

I think my Ohlins were pretty great chap.
Hear good about MSS and Nitron too.
If I had my time again I would like try Nitron and a geo set up 👌
Great video! Contacting them now to get the same done to my M2C. Thanks bud :)
Cheers dude - please feedback as and when. AND ENJOY 😉

Hi Steve
Only noticed more wear on the inside of fronts from camber adjustment but nothing else and nothing overly excessive IMO

Interesting video
Cheers pal - glad you enjoyed it x
Out of interest, how much did the car weigh?
I didn’t get a reading on the day chap but google has it at 2,010kg "gross vehicle weight"
@@CarMadDad erm you think an M2 is two tonnes?! More around 1600kg
@@peterwood2633 Top Gear website has it as 2,010kg's "gross vehicle weight" and 1,550kg "minimum kerb weight"
My m2 n55 manual is corner weighted on AST 5200,
was 1470kg, with half tank of fuel.
Me again Dale, been spamming a few videos today 😂
Is this just the road set up buddy?
Yes chap - no camber plates - just fast road on Eibach
