  • Adam Carolla is one of the most successful comedians around.
Millions of people listen to his podcasts, attend his live shows, and read his books.
Many of you liked the short video we did, but he deserves more time.
    ----
To make sure you see the new weekly video from Stossel TV, sign up here: www.johnstossel.com/#subscribe
    ----
In our full conversation, he goes much deeper into why he never apologizes for anything he says.
He rails against the media’s Covid hysteria.
He reacts to friends like Howard Stern and Jimmy Kimmel hammering his Covid opinions.
And he tells me why overregulation in California is “insane."

I recently lost a 20-year friendship because i was not scared or worried enough about Covid. Was called a Covid denier by this ex-friend for no reason whatsoever. I think people have been living in a state of fear for so long they’ve lost their logic and sense of reason.

So, you should be realizing by now that _all news is propaganda_ bar none. ALL NEWS is "produced" and it is done so to leave a certain predesignated impression on the viewer. I realized this as a young man after living through and experiencing some nationally broadcast news events first hand.

It would be nice if the Declaration of Independence really was followed (meaning NO administrative law, aka regulatory law). Yep that would mean Congress could Not be lazy. Regulations not allowed would mean any prohibited actions would have to be a law. That would by sheer bulk make it impossible tohave the mess we have.

I had a client in San Diego, California that wanted to do minor updates to the back of the building to raise the ground to stop it from flooding and get it to flow in to the existing storm drain. The permit itself just to do the project is $250,000! Not the cost of the whole project, the permission to even begin!
Client in Pennsylvania invited me to a nice restaurant for dinner and it was BYOB (bring your own booze... To a restaurant?!). I mentioned it was surprising that a restaurant this nice wouldn't get a permit to sell alcohol cause that's a huge margin for revenue. To many people think you need to be certified by a college to have an opinion on a particular topic, like books are not available outside college therefore no one outside college understands anything. Maybe we should switch up the system and tell them we'll only accept their argument if their IQ passes a minimum value or after they pass a critical thinking skills test.

Today, that sadly is not longer present in socety. If decent people stood up to the left wing oppression this could change. Comedians? I give them extra bounds as they are able to keep us thinking right.
