I like this blade shape much more than the Chamois. This blade shape seems better for utility work. I certainly don't anticipate getting into a knife fight any time soon. I like the fact that you're willing to use the knife before making changes to the handle even though it has a handle that didn't appeal to you at first. Great review.
Thanks. The Chamois is much more a "fencing" blade. This one is very nice all-around. I did add just a little taper and flare to the sides of the grip after a week or two of handling, but not much. I'll be reviewing a Muela that really shows what you could do with a grip like this.
joker, muela and those companies are great, i bought a ton of jokers and muelas back when they were still considered gas station style knives, dont regret it, there beasts, love my muela magnum 26
Centenary old workshops, which sell under a brand name. Albacete is to knives, what Toledo is to swords. Both places are a few milles apart. Gas Station knives say somewhere😂😂😂the unfair competition😆
@jonathandiamond6801 You can definitely make that argument. A KA-BAR has a rat tail. But I've seen a lot of KA-BAR fail. I've also had a few rat tails fail in my day. But if I could choose, which we can, I'd prefer to have more metal in the tang to handle the stresses of hard impacts. You're not wrong, It's just a preference.
Great review! I have a couple of the smaller Joker knives, and the fit and finish on them punches far above their weight class. The bigger Joker knives don’t seem to get as much love or praise (at least online) as their more bushcraft oriented offerings. It’s good to see that those bigger knives are still a quality product. If you are looking for something different to try out, have you seen the Terava Skrama? It’s definitely a bush knife and a strong chopper but I bet in the right hands it could be a serviceable weapon. Maybe worth taking a look
Thanks! I'll probably pick up a Joker bushcraft knife for comparison soon, as folks keep raving about them. That Skrama looks almost Seax-like. Interesting! I hadn't heard of Terava.
Love how the Zorro mixes style with utility, really elegant looking blade. Great modding work done on both the knife and sheath.
Thanks. I'm liking this one a lot all-around.

That Magnum 26 is a hell of a treasure!
@@michaelrizzo5523 if my old man hadnt taken me to see seraphim falls when it came out, id never have owned it, but that film convinced me
Great demonstration I think I might pick this up
Thanks! I still really like this knife, but be aware it's very likely a partial tang. So far mine hasn't loosened up.
Very cool knife. That handle shape looks excellent. I've heard good things about olive wood, I've no experience with it but I've heard it's very hard.
I've done a little bit of reshaping on these since I made the videos and the olive wood is indeed pretty hard stuff.
@@michaelrizzo5523 cool! I might have to try to use that on something. Looks like some nice wood.
Nice review bud thanks 👍

great looking Jokers Michael
Thanks! These Spanish knives a pretty interesting.
Great review as always!
Thank you, my friend!

A rat tail in a bowie would be a non starter for me. Great display knife though. Thanks for bringing it to us. 😊
It's a fighter. You DON'T need full tang.

Terrific Michael - you’re really taking a shine to the Spanish blades.
I suppose its a similar size and utility as the Buck 120 ? 👍
Yes, these Spanish hollow-ground blades have a lot of similarities to the Buck knives. I have a German Puma SBG coming in that is very Buck-like.

@@michaelrizzo5523 the Skrama is definitely based on a seax
Interesting blade...
Very. Surprisingly light.
Good knife, passed your tests but... Liking the Chamois in your previous video... Decisions, decisions... Lol!
I'm still worried about the likely partial tang, but if I'm not using it as a chopper it should be fine.
👍🖖☘️
also now you must learn three knife style
That actually might work better than three sword style.
I suggest a boxers mouth guard when holding that 3rd knife 😂
zoro got so damn lost this time he not only came to the real world but turned into a knife i guess he realy is a moss head
I had to make up for the Baby Bowie debacle.
@@michaelrizzo5523 I haven't finished that one yet got distracted with other things will finish
@@outlawsamurai47 It was sad.
Where did you purchase it?
Amazon link in description, but you can also get it direct from Joker.
