When I was a teenager, I had Chester, Shaddix, Amy Lee close to my heart and soul so much they were like my voice weeping and screaming all the pain, the depression that I was going through...
I am a multiple rape survivor, tried way too many times to kill myself, I've been forced to marry someone I didn't want to and felt like trapped into a neverending nightmare, and it's like with the Covid-19 that I have started to see light in my life, with my 2 beautiful daughters and this song was very very helpful to me and Ronnie's version has caught me off guard so much it hit me way too much close to a place where I was a real mess...
My whole body is marked with cuttings and they are a reminder of the long journey through darkness that I went through...
Ronnie is now like a family member, like Chester, Shaddix and Amy Lee, and I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for me and how grateful I am...
I'm almost 45 and I'm still fighting to remain in this world, and it's not easy, but I am trying to be there for my daughters and make sure they know that I love them, even when I think of killing myself, and I want them to be healthy and happy, so that's why I am sticking to their lights to stand on my two feet...

Jacoby (the Papa Roach singer) is singing the "I can't go on living this way" part. There is a video (and a short) on Falling In Reverse's channel where Ronnie played the unmixed/unedited song to Jacoby - who loved it.
He, Ronny Radke, has a great voice.
Since I discovered FIR I'm a big fan of their music and the videos are top notch.
Don’t think I ever really listened to the words properly in the original. In this version I was hanging on every syllable…….

I've been listening to the original since it came out, and I always thought the ending lyrics were "I'm running and I'm crying", which I could relate to. I realized when I heard this that the lyrics actually are, "I'm running out of crying"...which I relate to even more. That and also "... finding nothing but questions and devils."

To be honest this is actually the only 2 FIR songs we have recorded as standalones. We have reacted to a few others on our livestreams though

Okay so when we started we said we don't know this song because we didn't know that it was a cover and reimagined version of Papa Roach's song. When Ronnie sang the first lyrics we quickly realised which song it was and we actually said it as well. So yes, we know the song, like we actually said but no, we haven't seen or heard Ronnie's version before this reaction. But you can believe what you want, we know for a fact we haven't seen this version before.
