My wife and I were in the audience for this interview. She was absolutely brilliant. I remain in awe of her professionalism, humor, compassion and deep understanding of her role on the show and in the world, and for the incredible impact she's had on this earth.

You should see the one where she is in a VAN with some other people and goes to this abandoned warehouse in Chicago, on some street corner in middle of nowhere. There are THOUSANDS of un-resolved sexual assault cases that haven't even been opened. Been sitting there for 20 years. It's incredible.
I love that she’s so animated and comfortable that she forgets she’s holding her own mic. The longer it goes, the more she forgets the mic. She’s so cute.

Mariska is such an inspiration and absolutely love being able to have watched her on SVU after these years. You can just tell she’s an incredible person on top of being an incredible actress. She feels like a fresh of breath air, someone so easy to talk to and the woman is FUNNY!! 😂

THe most awesome interview I saw with Mariska. Awesome. The host Jessica was awesome also with the questions and her great energy.
This is like two friends talking. I love you ladies. Thank you. From day one I have always resonated with both the person and the character. I am in crisis outreach and went through training and it is about listening and showing up for the individual and treating them with dignity and respect in their pain. We always believe the victim. Never do we doubt we are an emotional first responder. It’s an honor to be able to offer love and support. Thank you for this interview. You both made us all feel like we were all friends and you brought us all together on peace and love.

She's so funny & warmhearted (is that even a word?). Jessica is right, she's such an emphatic caring soul that some parts in the series can't be acted. Some parts Mariska comes through. I've already learned a lot from her. She's so wise, always has been in my opinion. I'm almost half her age so I think she's inspiring me too. 🙏💖

Yeah that episode with the "ELAINE" audition was on the other night, and I'd forgotten how much time she had on screen (6 mins)!!! and of course, beautiful as always.
She had a sitcom in the mid 90's. Her character was so much different than Benson.

Mariska, if you do read this.. I'm not the only one who is totally in love with you for all the right reasons. I have come across many interviews of yours, but this is by far the best, as it shows how you naturally represent yourself both off and on screen such as SVU. I've seen some of the other documentaries where you've been to Chicago personally investigating, with some friends, HUNDREDS of untouched REAL rape case files in what looks like an abandoned warehouse. When you said "I'VE GOT THIS ROLE" - well, THAT is why... Because you are for real, and you CARE. I think everybody respects you for that. WELL DONE, Mariska. The world loves you because you actually make a difference.
