Of course she followed us and plopped herself down at our table with a smug look on her face. When the waitress came to take our order, I told her we would need separate checks. Her smug smile faded and the color drained from her face. She suddenly remembered she needed to be elsewhere. She still tried to horn in with other groups at work but never ours. We spread the word how we got rid of her and soon she had no one willing to pay for her. She left our company soon after. Wherever she is, I'm sure she's still pulling this trick.
I've lived for the last 15 years way below the poverty level due to my disabilities. I would NEVER ASSUME to 'borrow' money from friends to eat at a lunch outing! When I'm asked to join, I *immediately* turn it down because I DON'T have funds to spend. I never expect anyone to cover for me. The woman in this story is nothing more than a 🐷.
I don't understand how grown adults who keep being told "no you can't come with us because you mooch and we aren't paying for yours" can't understand they aren't getting a free meal
I would love it if one of these writers could explain how these people get into high end restaurants without a reservation.She had them serve her 10 portions of expensive steak without a reservation? Yeah, right!! In addition, if the stupid women in the group paid for her after one time, that makes them the idiots.That kind of stupidity deserves to be taken for a ride. LOL
How is "eating it for you" HELPING me out? How i and others choose to live or our lifestyle any of your business, how and why? Who is the leak that these people keep knowing all of your plans and events? Its not just easedropping or showing up on group chats. You need to drop these folks as well! "And be here in 30 minutes..." Demanding much! "Not up to you on what i spend my money on..." And me and the other mom's don't have that right? And how many times do you have to go thru things before you learn? BTW: thought the bill was $800, but at 10:16, you said $600.

By the way, I was just answering what the previous poster asked about the bill being $800, yet $600 was mentioned in another part of the story. I was explaining that they are TWO DIFFERENT bills.
