    Never heard of ?? I served there with the RAF. Beautiful place, English widely spoken, drives on the left and not too expensive. For me it's my retirement home.

      Is heard of it but there are a lot of people who haven't. Seems like it would be a really nice place to retire.

      @@nec1908 Great retirement place but, it's an EU member so EU rules apply. Getting the essential retirement visa is not easy and will be time consuming but it can be done. Perseverence is necessary.

    When people tell me that they do not know where Malta is, I jokingly ask them if they are Christians and if they answer in the affirmative, I ask them to look in the Bible, Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 28 verse 2, where Malta is mentioned.
