Moleskine was the first book I ever journaled in as an adult...and regardless of my love for fountain pens and Hobonichi .... I still use Moleskine as my regular journal, there’s something about the quality of the book and smooth paper that I love...I just use a variety of gel pens, & washi . I never tried my fountain pens in it or my Webster TN covers, thank you for the tips

Thank you for your video and going in-depth on all the details. I love Moleskine notebooks and been eyeing this one for my course studies and I see you are using yours for studies too. I think I'll get one for myself :) Have a happy New Year!

I’ve been able to use many of my fountain pens in my moleskine expanded that do not bleed through. Certainly not all my pens but a good number of them can be used. Wonderland222 also makes great notebooks at many sizes with TRP, but I also really enjoy these again now that I know which pens I can use in here. I love a really chunky notebook;)

I’ve used custom covers for these and they perfectly in a chic sparrow wide. I know you don’t do leather, but as a point of sizing their wide size fits it perfectly.

Thanks for the review, sis. I added a stick on pen loop to the back pocket area of my Expanded Moleskine and it worked fine. I used a four ink coleto with no problem. I used the squared as a planner the first 6 months of the year and I loved it. Got too heavy for me though. Thanks again for sharing. Be blessed, C.

Thanks for calling it an A5 Slim...I've searched high and low but couldn't but couldn't find anything that referred to what this size is called.

Before I knew there was a special term for that size, I always called it Moleskine Size because at least in Europe almost everybody knows a Moleskine! 😉

Love your reviews and been missing you🌹 Thanks for sharing. I have been using the expanded for awhile and becoming a favorite for journaling. Hobonichi Weeks is my planner since I retired and I do a BUJO with the expanded.

I use the Cahier size weekly calendar and a pocket size weekly Moleskine. Love them!

I found that the Kaweko Sport writes "drier" than other fountain pens. That's why it works on paper others won't.

Oh man, now I have to try one of those pens. I have resisted adding one to my collection, but you’ve just given me the excuse I need. My Pilot pens and my Lamy pens are ghosting so much more on the most current version of the Moleskine expanded notebooks.

@@ASimplegoddess 😂 Go for a fine tip too! I only write with my Kaweko for 2 years now!

You can also use a small binder clip and just slide the pen clip in it;)

You could put both the Moleskine notebooks in a Hobonichi cover, just like you did at the end with the other cover. Also, I find the Diamine ink colour 'Grape' doesn't bleed through poor quality paper like most of my other inks. I always use fine nib fountain pens though, so not sure if it would still be as good with a medium or broad nib. Love your videos! 😊

Oh yes, good point about putting them both in a Hobonichi cover! Thanks 😊

Cut a slice of cardboard and slide into pocket to keep the covers from going all the way to the edge . This is like extending the width of the covers and will keep the book's spine up against the spine of your planner cover.

I missed it, but what pens did you use? Great review. Thanks

That language course looks really interesting! Was it a MOOC or did you take it as part of a university curriculum?

It was a one-off course organised independently by someone from a UK university - it wasn't part of an official degree programme. It was fantastic! I really enjoyed it. I wish Ge'ez was taught more widely!

How much do you think the hard cover one weighs?

The labels where did u get them from?

    • @VeganOrganizer
      @VeganOrganizer  3 роки тому

They're from the Hobonichi shop, 1101.com. The number stickers are from Rymans (if you're not in the UK, it's an office supply shop).
