Not exiling Mondrak and choosing odd acorn gang was, well an odd decision

I was hoping that Max's choice of sending that Rite of Oblivion at the Gang instead of Mondrak would come back to bite him... and I wasn't disappointed.

So like does anyone know the justification of punting a removal spell at a low power commander and not the token doubler that becomes indestructible? Just curious!
Some people don't know how to play very well. Threat assessment is a huge part of being a competent player. Some people just never get it.
@@jsum33 yeah i notice commander is so casual it kinda deters people from making good plays. Why my pods emphasize being casual to a degree with good play making. I dont want to teach new people or regulars the idea that making the not optimal play is fine but the degree of casual varies depending on who is in the game and sometimes we do goofy stuff so it works out.

edit: also, I'm guessing you guys have a no-infinite rule, or else Jan Jansen *really* needs a clock of omens (besides liquimetal torque/ashnod's transmogrant which are already present) to make infinite tapped treasure/servos
One deck is clearly doing less than the others but no cares and smack it anyways. Weird threat assessment unless I'm missing something major here... No collaboration what so ever. Every one for themselves I guess...
Micah could have played his last turn a bit differently had he realized his 2 tokens dying would have given Garruk 4 loyalty counters due to doubling season and would have allowed to -6 to get them emblem and overwhelm a bit more. Very nice game overall!
can we slow down with the animation? its way too fast to even start reading the card properly and forces u to constantly pause, rewind, potentially multiple consecutive times

Why would he not block that balloon token with the Odd Acorn Gang? It has reach.
It wouldn't have saved him anyway. There were four flying balloons coming at him, and he only had 2 life.
@@DarkEinherjar No i mean way early on in the video when he had 1 balloon sent at him and he had the Acorn Gang out.

The balloon man is just gross. I haven't seen him in what players call a casual setting. He combos and goes off early without much trouble, and just flies ahead of most pods.
