In his defense he said "dont need to BUY chemicals" and since he's using baking soda, a diverse kitchen staple (used for baking, cleaning, remedies), chances are you don't need to go out and buy some solely to clean the blade ☺️
Not true at all actually. Most of the time if your blade seems dull it is just dirty. Many woods have preservatives in them and glues that gum up the blade over time.
@@Midwesternhandyman yeah I use them alot and that hasn't been my experience..Dewalt black and gold blades are the only ones that have lasted me long enough to bother thinking abt cleaning them..I'll give it a shot tho
@@Midwesternhandyman can you be more specific. I’ve worked in construction most of my life and I’ve never heard of this. Are you working with a lot of hard woods?
@@colincampbell-bussier1018 No sir, just lots of treated lumber on this specific job. If you're more a framer you might not run into this issue much. But I cut a lot of treated lumber and woods I've glued myself to make furniture and cabinets etc.
No it's a hacksaw blade that only works on a 5 3/16 metric battery power electric pull start saw..man only a landscaping guy would know this.wood saw bit.
@@john_dougg811NOPE 😂😂😂 bro great job doubling down but your some how more specific and more wrong 😅. It’s a Diablo combination saw. It literally says it on it!!! The number are worn off but because of how big it looks on the mud bucket it’s either 10”-50t or 12” -60t and a hack saw doesn’t use a circular blade 😅😅😅
Yeah, I'm just fun'n. I'm a commercial Glazier. I like these type of blade we use them on 2x, plywood ,alumi break metal 1/16 or 3/32 on fine plywoods I can't remember what is called but I turned the blade backwards to keep from splintering.but really Diablo blade are my choice even my sawzall hackzall blades are Diablo. But just messing with you guys to make sure someone reads this to waist there time. Lol
Just run it backwards with the reverse button on your saw
Dont need any chemicals, just hot water and this bag of chemicals

Bro doesn't know water and sodium bicarbonate are chemicals.
Everything is a chemical technically. I was using a general term people often use to refer to 'chemicals'.
Who cleans saw blades? When it's dirty enough to need cleaned it's usually dull enough to get a new one😅

@@amberzec try cleaning them if you use them often they'll last you much longer. I prefer Freud brand.
Easy-Off oven cleaner is the BEST for that
Windex/ vinegar work really well too.
I'll give that a whirl. I do love using vinegar to clean, always works really well.
That concrete blade looks like it drilled to many holes in glass.
What are you talking about? It’s clearly a cross cut wood saw blade. So specific and soooooo wrong

That blade in the video more than likely is on a 10" mitersaw or chop saw
