These guys are the BEST interviewers I've ever seen, and have left us with some absolutely priceless interviews with great artists. They're intelligent and just funny enough to have the perfect blend.
During the heyday of session players Larry and Lee Ritenour were only a handful of guitarists who could command a triple scale fee. So that was around $600-700 per hour- in the 1970s!
It's funny to see this comment. I just caught Mr. Carlton at a local club here in Michigan just a few weeks back and sat directly in front of him as he played (it was with his trio, which includes his son Travis on bass). At the end of the evening I bought his CD and had it signed and, yes, got to shake his hand. He is truly an amazing man as much as he is an amazing guitar player. If you are a guitarist and wish to learn more, Larry has course on TrueFire which I swear by.
great work you guys. Cannot believe you were able to interview all these guys and document it with tape. How did you get all the artists on the show? Other than ask them :) Thanks !
I ve shaked his hand several times..believe me . he has some natural energy in his body. He doesn t squeeze your hand at all....but you immediately feel that this man is an active man . So no wonder he has the life he leads.
man that's the ebst interview I've seen in a while very informative. Nowadays, its more like Hey I heard you was dating this chick or what do you think of Justin Bieber's career change....lol
tired no watch video. was this prior to when he got shot by some jerk when he was hanging outside the studio? he didn't die of course but had his fingering hand not working well after cause some nerve damage to the shots in chest and shoulder
TruthSurge no drugs for Larry buddy, doesn't need that garbage, he's a born again Christian, never used drugs, he did struggle getting off the pain killers he was forced to use when he was shot in the throat, he said it was a tough ten days when he finally didn't need

I didn't expect to find you here too, I think I saw you on an Eric Johnson video before.
Interesting that he started off influenced by Country pickers. Country, Jazz, Pop, Blues, then Blues/Rock.
