- Quick late afternoon trip to an overlooked Lancaster County tributary fishing for Native Brook Trout. Lancaster County has various Conservancy areas which contains nice wild trout streams, and this was a little exploration at one of them.
Thank u so much for keeping quiet lol this is my favorite trout stream around me its trout heaven its real they're native its the woods its jus trout heaven for the real ones
I’ve fished that stream for years and just finished a restoration plan for the greater watershed in which it’s a trib. Great little gem.
Made a video here a month or so ago, really nice little stream. Nice job man!
Well, being called out by a mediocre UA-cam star was my entire goal. However, with that being said, i will continue my campaign with you until the end. Happy Father’s Day, son
Awesome video. Lancaster county has been getting more and more class A streams listed. The stream you fished is one of the more popular ones. Since the Glen parking is now shut down, I have a feeling this stream is going to get hit even harder.
Also sucks you had kids swimming up around the bend. 3 very nice holes up there. Including, imo, the best on the section.
@Fishing Phantom trout run nature preserve in Lancaster County
No, it’s great that kids are outside of the house enjoying nature and not their video games.
Up in New England, Spent many days fishing for natives.....great film
I fished this stream today and oddly UA-cam put this video right in front me. Weird. Anyway, I’ve fished there probably 5 times and it’s hit or miss. Today it was miss but it was also freezing. Nice video!
Sounds like the dog may have been afraid of your go pro head mount sometimes hats set dogs off. Great video man. Let me know if you want to fish sometime I got some pretty nice spots 👌
Dude you are seriously on the grind, you deserve a lot more views and subs

Where is this
All I can say is Lancaster County PA..
it's called trout run. a nice class A, but please pinch your barbs down. small single barbless hooks are more than enough for these small trout. They are opportunistic and will strike at almost anything. If you happen to fly fish, just go there with a nice bulky dry fly like a stimulator (size 14/16) and they will slam em.
@@mattpeterson6378 I’ve been there a few times. Caught my limit each time and ate them up.
@@waylonlegend4603 Very funny. I guess that’s what I get for being nice and giving you information on a local stream. But this is the internet, and people are dicks. My bad
@@waylonlegend4603people like u why these fisheries die, go fish for stockies
I’m living at psu so hit me up if you ever want some company I’m always hitting the streams around here with my spinners
Plus I gotta little honey hole for 15+ inch wild browns

Brookie looked stocked to me
I fish all theses little tribs in Martic two. The tuquan use to be stocked with brookies. It hasn’t had a stocked fish in 8 years. It currently has native browns that found there way in there from the Susquehanna River. One small stream you were on off the rail trail is known as trout run. There are many hidden gems in those hills. I have caught brookies as large as 17 inches, with many in the 9- 13 inch range. Not many people fish these tribs because the terrain is rough and hard to get to unless you are familiar with the area. Other than hunters and a few hikers these beautiful trout gems are untouched. They are nice to fish when the weather is too hot to fish bigger waters. Good luck with your adventures.
Trout run is very well known, it's not hidden haha.
