  • Made a brief trip to Cumberland County PA and Micheux State Forest to fish Mountain Creek and Tom's Run. Although February, the weather wasn't terrible and I managed to catch a few decent Wild Brown Trout (missing several others). Great forest/streams for South Central PA and NOT overly fished or well-known.

Really enjoy your video - love fishing for browns and specks... I used to fish a stream full of specks until the browns took over....

Fished it many times for many years. Nice stretch well above the lake.

Hit this only twice and can only assume I was too low and closer to the creek bc I caught only 1 maybe 2-3” native on the fly and saw no life at all otherwise. Wasn’t an impressive stretch considering where I native fish is like a 10-15 fish day most times. Still enjoyed your video though and seeing fish being caught there.

It’s definitely hit or miss. Need to go when water is flowing good. Above the state park is tight quarters but nice. Rarely see another angler. s

@@TravelingTroutCo I’ll have to get up there again one of these days. This video gave me the itch and I’d love to see a wild brown pulled out.

Saw a ton of downed trees on the Stony Creek below DeHart Reservoir, today.

You should wet your hands before touching the fish and not let it touch the ground

I’ve already seen baby tiger musky in Mountain Creek. Wouldn’t surprise me consider it dumps into the Breeches which eventually dumps into the Susquehanna

Try to be more discrete when saying where you are, lot of good spots that could be ruined from foot traffic.

@@codysoutdoors2696 ok so let me fish all your favorite spots and ruin them and see how you feel because that’s what happens when you put spots on the internet

Doesn't know what sediment is? Really? South Mountain is a sandstone mountain which means that the sediment is sand. Unreal...limestone sand is grey, sandstone is typically tan.
