The Ballad of John Craske

Norfolk Folk Singer, Anto Morra, performs the premiere of the 'Ballad of John Craske', an original song that chronicles the life story of Fisherman John Craske who was born in the town. Later, John Craske moved with his family to Dereham where he ran a fish shop in Norwich Street. During a period of illness John Craske turned to painting and embroidery, mainly of sea scenes. His art is now admired and appreciated around the World, with exhibitions held in London and New York.
