The Indian parents are so patient. I’m German and I would not have such patience. I raised 2 kids and it was not easy but they turned out good. I was strict and I did not tolerate disrespect.
That's what most kids are missing is discipline especially here in America these kids think they can use the whole human rights thing to do whatever they want (it's my body, I have freedom of speech, it's unconstitutional what you're telling what to do).

As an Indian i can say life in India is very much like this... Parents here are strict but loving and they look at nothing but their children's future... They didn't have much growing up so they feel Iike they don't want their children to lose their chances that they themselves didn't have...

Those parents didn’t seem strict to me they seemed super nice. It’s just that they understand how to do things in the right way. Some British parents are stricter than they are it’s just they don’t tend to go about things in the right way, which is why they end up producing spoilt entitled brats like these two
