Lovely job. Nice kit!
Great review of a unusual subject and I can see an idea for a diorama, all I need is some negro GI drivers which really should be included in the kit, which is where many kit manufacturers fail, they never supply drivers!!
Cool model👍
Great review yet again Peter. A very interesting kit looks really good.
I built the "New Release" ALCAN Hwy version of this vehicle and it's a mixed bag. The new parts shine over the old, and it takes a lot of work to "polish" it. Ultimately, it is a respectable model; I just wish they had remolded all the parts. Great review Peter.
Thanks for the review, Peter. I didn't realize ICM had produced such a varied range of these types. Looks like there is another `variant ` on the way. Cheers
The movie Red Ball Express is indeed available on UA-cam. When I first saw this kit I assumed that ICM borrowed Hobby Boss's molds for the tanker part. Nope...I checked my HB kit against the sprues you were showing. Not the same!
👍👍
I often wonder about the parents of the Allied forces of WW2, who had seen western powers blow through Europe already back in WW1, and so gave the soldiers much greater confidence in their own victory one generation later. Those who held onto hope that they "had done it before, they could do it again."
👀
Excellent review Pete!
