Chance's knife is one of the most OP weapons in NV. It gets 50% boost to its damage if you take cowboy and grunt perks, on top of good crits and quick attack speed. Better alternatives, and even those are debatable, are late game two handed stuff, or some of the dlc weapons, everything else melee is inferior

Chris Haversom goes to Novac, usually hangs out in Manny Vargas Room. New Vegas Low intelligence options are the best.
