    Great content man, love the grind!
    It's awesome that someone is making the effort of combining in-game comms with VODs of opponent scouting and stringing it together with commentary to colour in the context.
    Keep it going!

    This kind of material is something I would love to see from many players. Any chance you could analyse a demo of some player together with them? For example the thinking of ropz or ZywOo would be interesting to dive in :D

    Maybe dumb question but when I play. Should I always consciously think BEFORE the round starts about what to do/what position to play etc. And then switch to my subconscious mind/autopilot DURING the round?

    Thanks for another banger video, Styko. Also what sleeve is that on your arm, and do you see them as beneficial?

    • @STYKO
      @STYKO  7 місяців тому +1

      Since I started using glasspad I think sleeve is a must, otherwise sweaty hands / forearms just won’t slide. I use sleeve by company named Pulsar

    In 2:05 what when having that 1 awp and the rest has forced buy. How do you maximize the awp in that scenario. Do you prioritize having an opening kill early in the round or just leaving the awp in default position and wait for a pick off

    • @STYKO
      @STYKO  7 місяців тому +1

      I’m not an AWPer but here is my suggestion.
      Don’t go for super aggresive play or all-in peek early as those are usually hard to hit and if you miss, you’ll give them free info that we have AWP and where it is.
      I would much rather take long-range duels / holding common default pathways for T’s where it’s unlikely to flash you. This will allow you to take free shots and escape, mitigating the trade potential. Such position would be divider on banana (or top of flowerblock on long) early round and then falling back to sign/A default in mid round & late round.
      If you miss your shots or you are overwhelmed, it’s always possible to fall back into bank.
      Think of it as T’s don’t have info about the AWP yet so it’s easy to catch them defaulting with low utility and not flashing / smoking as much. They are also prone to overpeek in these rounds.

      @@STYKO thanks STYKO. Yes information is power. Often times i notice how the enemies can dry peek certain angles when they dont know there is an awp in play or at least expecting it.
      I often go for the early kill at overpass in mid or cons. just to compensate for the forced buys and sometimes find myself getting clamped down by the T's while repositioning or falling back
