WHO AM I:
👋🏽 I'm Martin, in esport world known as STYKO. I’ve played CS:GO & CS2 professionally for a few years in various best international teams in the world.
👣 I used to be a part of HellRaisers, where my esport journey started. I represented mousesports and peaked #2 in the world and I also wore Cloud9 and FPX jerseys, one of most famous esport organisations in the world. At last, I was a part of team Apeks which made it to TOP4 of last CS:GO Major in Paris. Currently I play for Monte

Yes, do T-side too.
Maybe it is not as straightforward on T side as it is more about how you play, than where on the map you are going. But i would also like to see it, regardless of how you it's put.
How would that video work? There aren't well-defined positions on T side-- just generic roles like lurk, entry, sniper, etc.
@@user-fc8xw4fi5v post plants? there are great post plant spots that CTs cant actually play because going one for 1 is bad for CT, good for Post plant
i hadn't seen a video like this, it's awesome content!
Now we just need this for the T Side ❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, I tried Ancient mid other well regared spots according to your ranking which I usally don't play and it helped me to win some games.
Great to hear! Good luck trying more new roles & positions on the map 😊
Subbed, while this video was created for players, this is an extremely helpful resource for myself as an aspiring map creator. Being able to see how these positions stack against each other is a brilliant way to pivot into why they have so much impact. Figuring out how to craft impactful positions OR how to devalue other positions is extremely valuable when designing a new map. Thanks again, can't wait for the T-side vid!
Great video, I would recommend using different font colors for different maps to make it easier to recognize next video :)
noted for future 😅 my first tierlist ever, so I already have few things how to improve this content moving forward 🥳
this video seems very helpful and enjoyable:D
very very very helpful THANKU
Congrats on joining Monte 🎉🇸🇰( dufam ze poťaháš
thank you so much mate!
great insight :)
Mirage con is crazyy was on a loss streak and broke it with a 43-12 game in con
Before I watch I wanna guess some:
Nuke outside
Ancient Mid
Mirage connector
Anubis mid
Vertigo A ramp
After watching I should have considered Nuke rotator. Watching prime s1mple playing nuke rotate was crazy. Never seen a player with so much impact
great idea
Looking forward to your first match against vita with monte
Would be good if at the end of the video you can take a screenshot and just link it in the description, that way people can come back to the video whenever they need it
hmm, did you know Anubis A site is highest ranked rating on the map (exept awp), It's a hidden star position.
Yes, true. However, impact wise it is not that great as majority of action on Anubis happens to B site or mid, generally. Especially on Faceit
farm eco rush then afk rest game = high rating low impact
yeah because you either stop an eco rush by yourself or save, there is nothing in between xd
I know overpass is just out of active map pool but would love it addition to tier list as a retrospective, you could always write it in comment whats in your opinion position was ranked as :) great video btw
A Rifler - S Tier
A AWP - A or S Tier
Rotator - B Tier
Short player - high C Tier
Monster - D Tier
nice video
ty!
do u have the tierlist maker link so I can make1 with friends?
As for the (mostly anker) positions I'm playing:
Ancient: B/Cave, need to have good coordination with your mate otherwise you are heavily overworked, cave is indeed more impactful overall
Anubis: B, I always feel like I would need to have at least double the nades to effectively shut down the site
Dust2: B, hard anker position, but if they decide to get to B you get the chance to win the round on the spot, therefore I'd rate it one higher
Inferno: B passive, not as good as Banana position, bcs you can't ever go for a mid flank, if you stall enough after your Mate falls to a rush to enable A players to rotate inpact is huge
Mirage: short, very active position compared to my others, but hard to get the timings of peeking mid/rotating to A right, also difficult to play in ecos
Nuke: ramp, rushes are really uncomfortable, the other fights are really winnable, Lobby flank is powerful, rotation over heaven safe and strong as well
Vertigo: B, rotating simulator, sometimes 11/12 rounds shifting to A and retake is really annoying, safeing also basically no impact, one of the worst sites to hold imo
all in all I don't perform too well statwise (low kills but also low deaths), but my friends don't like to play these positions and are mostly inpatient if they have to play them ct side becomes a disaster.
Let me know what you think, also comment if you play more or less the same positions!
Let's see which CT position are the strongest.
That was interesting look at what CT position are the strongest indeed
So If I am 1300 elo and I have 3k elo in my team I should take best position so that we can level out stats?? Okay understood ty
Need a t side version
Maybe i didn't notice it in your previous videos, but where is your comments about your new team Monte ?
I just did quick Shorts video about it and spoke about it on my Discord. Didn't want to do video about me joining team again as I had different videos prepared. :)
@@STYKO i see, thanks
This video is more worthwhile than S1mple's payment course which costs 150$ per year
That’s humbling comment, if you mean it - Thanks 🥳
holy shit i play all the shittest spots LOL
I feel like this is a vital flaw of pro players that they cannot go out of their comfort position and everyone keeps playing their predictable position with similar patterns. Never made sense to me but faceit toxicisty made me realize its just people want the better positions to be like 5% more impactful… only to not get action in their part of the map and flame the lowest elo player for everything going wrong instead of what actually would win them elo and allow them to go further with their csgo 3k elos and that is become better athletes mentally and morally and being leaders keeping the energy, nobody cares about having a consistent mental state so u can deliver in situations where u must adapt. Sorry for rant Lmao
make a video about input lag people should know that everyone does not play on an equal footing
no way dust2 b is above anubis a… anubis a anchor has way more opportunities to play aggressive and punish stairs/water
Dust2 A is way more retake-able compared to Anubis B
Anubis b is d tier
window or i troll
Good list, and I agree overall with my experience at my level (only lvl 8 faceit).
However: For FaceIt I disagree with the Ancient B and Cave tiers. As you say yourself that's where people go a lot. If your B/Cave players are bad, its gg. I think you have too much the perspective of top play / pro play here.
As for dust 2, you always play spawn based if you are in any kind of serious game.
professional teams dont play "spawn based", it only matters when it comes to taking long control early on in the round, generally players lean towards the same parts of the map every round
Agree with the ancient take on B site, only a lvl 7 pisslow but yeah if one of them players die early and the other gets ran over. They have exec smokes on long and short your retake players just sit there looking at smokes for 30 seconds while the bomb ticks away
@@yyyynwm9106 Long d2 spawns determine how much control the Ct side will go for, Ancient is another map that if "the B players" cant get save mid is played differently
taking down the video about a video being taken down lmao
Actually first
pog
Most powerful CT position is inferno
Simply inferno
Notes while watching video
1. Who calls dark/con on anubis "Cave"???
2. I'm pretty sure if you play short without lower control you are 🍳
In my old team we didn't call it dark/con/cave so I wasn't sure what to name it in the vid :D
@@STYKO It's either dark or con
Other names include: THERE, LEFT, NO, NOT THERE
Your biases are awfull, if you Watch my games I always carry from b vertigo
