There is normal jump + grab (on the ground) too. Sometimes people expect you to do something when you jump, but wait until you do and that's when you bait them and get a grab lmao

Sometimes the simplest moves are the dandiest.
I don't if that is just me but Sol and Dizzy's grabbing range is so good in the XX games, it makes walking forward and throwing the opponent easy, it works almost every time.

maybe not walk up an throw, but i always go for Wake up throw. Its very reliable to me for some reason.

zato's drunkard shade is pretty shit as a reflector in all but like 2 matchups but its throw invuln during start up and running way to close to your opponent as they wake up and doing drunkard shade when they try throw reversal will never get old

Chipp has the same thing with Zansei Rouga (throw inv starting frame 1) But it has such long startup that you can YRC it before it takes the meter for the super and you can punish the throw attempt.
With the way sf6 is doing things, I hope guilty gear takes note of the possibilities, and they make the gameplay as hard as in xrd. Its also an option to make it as hard as in accent core.
